[QUOTE="travisgsf;28592162"]
o you have these in your car? The DFC3000?

Correct... DFC 3000 for front and Centric ceramic pads for rear. Parts Geek carries the same pads also. They sold out on Buy Brakes, so I got them from Parts Geek. I am very happy with them and always bought Akebono pads before but they don't make them for the G80 yet. I actually like the 3000 pads better.
I'll say this again, if you are a overly aggressive driver and run up on traffic irresponsible, you may want to reconsider. They stop great but there is a learning curve. I'm not saying they don't stop sufficient but it's different from OEM. I like the ceramic pads better because it doesn't feel as I'm going to go thru the windshield. I only use ceramic pads for over 20 years on all of my BMW'S and I drive fast and have been in emergency maneuvers and with confidence.
Sorry for long post but you will have some naysayers on ceramic pads.

Looks like EBC carries brake pads, had great luck with their pads on a few of my vehicles.

Also if you are looking for pads I wouldn't go with Yellows, I have personally never had a good experience with them. I really don't like that I'm going with blues but I didn't want a custom cut. Here's to hoping Ferodos releases a DS2500 for these.

I had great experience with the yellows on my 2014 4Runner with 33s.... I will say they are not the cleanest pad and they didn't last for shit (30k miles) or so. Albeit I have aftermarket steel bumper, 33s. etc. etc. but the braking performance over stock blew my mind. Brake pedal felt so much better. I think I will try their orangestuff to see how those are.

I don't have any experience other than 2 sets of the yellowstuff on a 4runner. Blues sound fairly aggressive.

I also responded to you in another thread. Very happy with my decision with these brakes.
DFC 3000 ceramic for front
Centric Ceramic pads for rear
I've had these on my car sense December and no brake squeal and the stopping power is more than adequate. I don't track my car and don't drive like a hooligan in traffic.
Update from another member (me) on this: I swapped my brake pads for these over the weekend, and now I can finally say that I love my M3. I didn't realize exactly how annoying and embarrassing the brake squeal had become with the OEM pads until it was finally gone. I've had the car for a year, and my one complaint is now addressed. Excellent recommendation

I am glad you are happy with your purchase. Had my pads on since December and love them. How are you adjusting to the stopping power ? I'm happy all around with stopping, no squeal and less dust.

The stopping power is better now for street driving - less grabby and more linear. I'm sure this combination of rotors and pads isn't optimal for the track (nor would I test that) but for my daily commute and the spirited driving that I do in normal life, I think they're great.

Also, I had CCB's on my Alfa and although I loved that car, I actually loathed the braking experience in normal life situations. The setup on the M3 is now very much to my liking.

Yes! One set (fronts, i believe) came from BuyBrakes, and the rears from Amazon. The best thing? Around $200 total! Btw, I have an unopened full set of EBC Yellowstuff pads for G80. If anybody would like to buy them for a nicely discounted price, send me a PM

I have them on my car and love them. I can go almost a week without seeing much brake dust to warrant washing my wheels. I have Centric ceramic pads for rear wheels and virtually no dust.

How is the stopping power? Might consider a set just for street duty.

Stopping power is great... a more linear and you can modulate your stopping distance better and don't feel like you are going through windshield. I've been at speeds that are illegal for roads and slowed down with confidence. I don't drive like this regularly or in traffic.

The front pads are ceramic also. DFC 3000, they dust a little more than back but ate no where as bad as oem.
