Based on my testing on my X3MC, it was the IS1500.
But some east coast customers said that IS1500 is less of a bite than stock.
My personal favorite is IS2000 though.

I am having the same issue. Everytime I press the brakes I can hear a clunk too. Annoying!!! I am not going to pay again to take them out and install the OEM. I’ll just order something else and once they arrive racple the carbotechs.

Installed IS1500 all around a few days ago. Zero brake squeal, but I will say the bite feels a bit less than OEM. This, believe it or not, is what I wanted since I spend a lot of time in traffic going to/from the city and the new brakes are much easier to modulate in traffic (I don't get as much jerkiness compared to OEM). I don't track my car very often so I was okay with this change. But think about your use cases to see if it makes sense.

Any noise coming from the hardware? Clicking or anything else?

No nothing that I can hear so far. Extremely quiet.

I've had the Carbotechs installed for the past month

1) Brake Dust is minimal
2) No squealing

HOWEVER

1) The clunking noise is real. When I first bought the pads and saw the posts about clunking, I reached out to them and the supplier and they assured me that my batch was not part of the problem and the problem was resolved. Unfortunately, it is not resolved, I still have clunking over bumps.

2) Brakes are very soft, I would say it is accurate to assume you are losing about a third of your braking power with these pads compared to OEM, which for me, is not okay.

Unfortunately, I do not believe that the minimal brake dust and no squealing outweigh the clunking noise and reduced braking power. I will be switching to IS2000's next.

Really disappointed that I was assured I would not have any clunking.

Is1500 with 2000 miles on it. Really low dust, little less bite than oem but good brake when you call them. It has a soft clunking noise when reverse if you have some floor inclination like if the rear pads moves a little but it is like a soft click. Sometimes it does the same with fronts only then the first brake in the morning leaving my driveway that is not flat too, but nothing that bothers me, more pros than cons.
