Haven't seen a thread for build week 22. i have a m3 CS Frozen solid white/red steel brakes/black wheels scheduled for week 22. anyone else with the same build week?

So I've been build week 22 for the last couple of months. But now it changed again and they don't know when my car will be build. Anyone else with this issue? I'm from Belgium so not sure if it's the same. But anyway. This sucks!!

I was week 23, then about 10 days ago, I got pushed to week 26. USA.

Jep, they just called my that it’s because of the bucket seats.

I just called genius and i'm still scheduled for week 22 as i'm seeing LOTS of builds getting pushed back a few weeks or more. I mentioned this in another post but i have a feeling the carbon bucket shortage isn't 100% a true shortage. I have a feeling bmw is prioritizing allocation of buckets to the CS builds. I'm awaiting a CS. Porsche did this to me when i was ordering a 981 GT4 as around 981 gt4 production the GT3RS also begun production and porsche prioritized buckets going to GT3 RS models and for gt4 buyers you couldn't spec buckets for earlier build dates. i ended up moving down the wait list so i could get the bucket seats. it worked out in the end but i did risk not getting the car by moving down the list. are the guys getting pushed back all buckets in m3 comp/base models, or has anyone with a CS been pushed back too?

I'm build week 20 and I haven't heard nothing about my build being pushed back due to bucket seats not being available. I've called twice to find out and was told that I should be fine as they don't see anything on there end.

My sales manager told me today that he’s heard “chatter” about supply issues on the carbon seats. I started out as week 17 build and have been pushed back a few times. As of right now my allocation sits at week 25. He said my build has been marked as priority 1 customer sold since the allocation was received on 2/28.

That’s interesting. This is hearsay but my dealer was telling me they may not offer carbon buckets on MY 24 because of shortages.
I don’t know if I believe this but sounds like this a legit production issue.

Yep same here as I just stated above. Maybe changes coming for MY24. I did not order carbon buckets so hoping to still be week 24 build

That's crazy, got my allocation 3/23 and was week 15 build. I have buckets. Though there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.

So that would mean they will cancel all orders and we would just have to reorder one without them? I really hope not because the buckets is one of those things I have to have on this car.

I dunno about cancel orders that are already allocated. I think they would honor them but seems like everyone with buckets is getting delayed. It’s possible they won’t offer for new orders. But again let’s be honest I have no idea. That’s what my dealer said when I was placing my order.

Yes. I have a CS on order. All CS models come standard with carbon buckets

Aah that explains it. I was build week 22 but have been pushed back to an unknown date. They said it's because of the carbon buckets. But mine is a regular comp. CS will get priority.

Got pushed back to Week 22 coming from Week20 .. and previously delayed Week 19. So hopefully it's the last time I migrate threads

Carbon buckets and/or full leather are the main culprits from what I'm hearing

I'm leasing so would I hate to not make the cutoff for a MY 23' .. same exact car with a price bump for 24' No thanks !
