Stop-sale / delay due to audio module issue

After 6 weeks at state-side port with this stop-sale and no activity or ETA I cancelled my order and got lucky with an almost identical spec from dealer inventory nearby me.

Couldn't be happier with the car I got, but it just seems like bullshit to me that 22's and lower trim models with stop-sales fly out of the VPC in a matter of days, meanwhile those of us who were still waiting on 21's at the tail-end of production got screwed.

Anyways, hope everyone still waiting gets their cars ASAP. See ya in the General Forum.

I can tell you that the date range in what you found isn't complete. I'm a last week of June build. Day 43 and counting...

2022 G82 M4. Week 34 build. I was told last week that I have a stop sale for Audio Module. Car is currently on the Atlas Leader, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Due at Port Hueneme 10.5.2021

I call the genius every day and today I asked them if they've seen cars move out of VPC Oxnard with the radio audio module. They said they have and it's taking around 3-4weeks.

Out of curiosity I asked about other VPCs. They said north east is looking at and average time of 6.5 weeks and south east has the fastest at 2 weeks.

LOL. Another thing they told me isnthat they work on sale pending or pre sold cars firtmst over stuff that's just gonna go to a dealership and sit there so she said to reach out to the CA and make sure I have the sale pending or pre sold designation

Oh no. My car is at the port waiting on a ship. I got the camera and RAM stop sales.

They released a statement saying the RAM audio module will be available in limited quantity starting October. But from the folks I've talked too—it looks like there's over 1k cars sitting at port waiting for it.

The sooner you get here the sooner they can start the work order to get you a fix.

The genius I spoke with today said expect about 1-2 weeks after October since my work order was started early August.

For everyone else you should expect to wait 6-12 weeks after your work order starts (typically the work order starts 1-3 days after you go from the arriving port to the VPC)

what i dont understand is that there are cars that were produced after yours that never had a stop sale. which means that they had the parts for *them*. its bullshit that theyve had the parts for newly assembled cars and yet folks like you and aford have had to wait for, ostensibly, months.
