In contrast, the EBay one, and seemingly MHC Black simply slip over the side blade, this right? Thanks for your response by the way. |

Bummer
NWCarbon Haus said they use defective carbon ones to pain gloss black, 15% off the carbon price. Might go that route. Hoping they can get me some pictures. I think the black lip will look better with the side skirts and black rear skirts. I have the carbon pack so I think I’ll just add a GT carbon grill and that will round out the front |

I have the lightweight lip from EAS. Its not my favorite looking. But its a soild piece. Ive run into the crub stopper on accident a few times and that thing is ROCK solid. Scrapping going in and out of step driveways doesnt show any damage unless youlook at it from below. So thats what I went with this time.
Ive already wrecked a handful of carbon fiber ones from my E92 and F80 days that Im just over those now that I am older.

I was planning to paint the genuine mperf gloss black
Has anyone done that yet Painting cf is a bit tricky, you have to ensure you have a very good quality part so it doesn’t look all wavy once painted |

I have all M Performance cf on my G80 except for Lightweight lip. It’s not the sexiest but good OEM+ vibes and gives the front a little something something. It sucks getting old. |

For $200 I’d say it’s worth the risk. Or wait and I’ll buy one and post some pictures |

Received the lip and installed last night. Easy process only took 20 minutes and I didn’t need to use any hardware it came with (using 10 of the existing 10mm bolts from bottom of bumper). Quality and Fitment is great since it’s a simple 3 piece design and installs directly over without needing to remove side pieces. However, I’m not sure I dig the design, it protrudes a little too far out in my opinion and doesn’t compliment the bumper lines as well. I’ll keep it on for a few weeks and decide if I’ll keep it. What do y’all think?

I don't think anyone has said it but Maxton Design USA's stuff fits well and is a really good value. They have a few different versions available in gloss black. I had their front lip on my A90 and was really pleased with it.

After living with it for 24 hours and having the chance to view the lip from all angles, I’m starting to really like it. Looks incredibly well integrated from medium to farther distance away and the no gap fitment is a huge plus.

No drilling just use the same 10mm bolts from the car and it’ll fit. Scraped it ~3 times already on steep curbs and driveways and still holding up.
