Week 25. I really am starting to think I will have the last 2021 M4 delivered.

I would seriously give up but what else has a manual transmission that I can buy today that is interesting and not priced way over sticker.

I now am just hoping the delay is not from shipping damage that has to be repaired.

I wonder if there is a way to find that out.

Are there any other 2021 still undelivered?

What kind of damage takes 15 weeks to fix? You’ve been waiting almost an additional 4 months. That’s nuts and I really feel for you.

It’s like they are hoping you’ll say you’re no longer interested, and they can avoid actually doing whatever the car needs with all the 2022 MY work they have. And ironically the longer it goes, the more likely they expect you’ll drop out (and any effort now is wasted effort on their part?). It’s not really your car until you take delivery of it.

I’d ask your dealership to escalate to BMW NA. And engage directly with corporate as much as you can.

The 2021 M4 does have the Camera and RAM stop sale but it may have been scratched, bumped or something while being repaired for the stop sales and so now is in cue for a cosmetic repair.
I hope not and it is just bad luck that it is not fixed yet.

Finally "in transit" to the dealer. Should be there tomorrow. Stop sale took 66 days to resolve at the VPC. Waited another 4 days to move to "in transit".

Hopefully taking delivery this weekend but if I've learned anything during this process, until it's done it's not done.

I certainly hope you all don't have to wait as long as I have. For anyone who has waited or is waiting longer, I'm really sorry and hope this gets resolved for you soon.

I don't understand BMWs thought process. I have a stop sale on my car for the audio module and my car is currently in transit. Some of the cars that dispatched after me have no stop sale. Shouldn't BMW honor the parts to those that have been waiting at the ports first, basically first come first serve!?

I'm sure there is some logic to this (according to them) but none of this entire process has made sense to me. It's like the place is being run by chimps.

Fewer people pissed off and a lower cost per vehicle by installing at the plant.

I agree that it sucks though

This. Same logic as air traffic control after a weather disruption. Impact as few cars/flights as possible, then recover the disrupted as soon as parts (or takeoff/landing slots) permit.

10/9 update - my 22 m4cx at the NJ VPC has had its Camera stop sale lifted, now just waiting for the RAM to be installed and stop sale on the car lifted.

My CA said BMW is releasing a bulletin next week with regards to the Audio Module stop sale… so let’s see what happens…

Same here. I've been at Bremerhaven exactly one week today. Genius agent this morning said it's waiting on the RAM, which implies BMW is installing it there vs. shipping it Stateside and remedying the stop sale at the U.S. VPC. (Maybe they're running out of parking space at U.S. ports.)

Anyone else whose M3/M4 was built within the last couple weeks being told the same?

At Bremerhaven since Oct 7, so not very long. Have not heard this though. I would be surprised if they kept it there vs shipping and fixing.

Likely just sitting in Bremerhaven waiting for a boat versus waiting on the fix. Pretty sure they are still doing all retrofits at the VPCs stateside.

I ordered my M3C in April. Finally went into build on week 37 (Sept 13-19). Found out on Oct 7 I had a stop delivery due to the RAM module. Car is coming to Toronto, CA - so not sure if that makes any difference.

Being told the same thing in the F93 forum for the RAM. Thought grabbing the 8er before the G80 would avoid the wait but not the case so you're not alone.

Still like checking over here for any signs of forward movement but just haven't seen it yet.
