It's not available yet but soon! I don't think the US distributor is receiving their inventory until October

I dont believe they will touch secondary (non monitored cats). Which is a no go for someone that wants it loud.

If you all knew how much this stuff costs to produce in former Yugoslavia you’d be shocked. You’re paying Rolls Royce price for a Yugo

You can say that for a ton of aftermarket car parts, across a bunch of platforms. Wheels may be the worst mark -up.

It's a dirty little secret in the industry that most of the products we are buying--even from very high-end brands--are outsourced and made in low cost areas like SE Asia and Eastern Europe. In this day and age, it does make good business sense but yes, the margins are by and large, very fat, and the brand is not really going to be upfront about the fact that that $2500 spoiler is coming from China. Not that much stuff is actually manufactured in say, the US or Germany these days. And it's not that stuff made in China, etc. is intrinsically worse quality than something made in the US--just substantially, substantially cheaper.

In terms of gross margin, I think aero parts are the highest. Mostly it is fiberglass and there's no real standard around what can be marketed as "carbon fiber". People are starting to wise up a bit and realize they can go on a site like AliExpress or eBay and find products of comparable quality at 50-75% less. I would not be surprised if the brand product and the AliExpress replica are coming from the same factory in some cases.

Yes, definitely. For wheels, not much forging is done in the US anymore. Most of that production capacity has moved to Taiwan and China. BCForged, for example, is based in Taiwan if I remember correctly. I am not sure how popular they are for BMW compared to other brands. HRE also makes at least some products in Taiwan now too.
