I was just at the dealer specing my car (no allocation yet) and my CA said that all individual colors were $5500. I felt it was a little odd he didn’t have a price list somewhere.

Can anyone provide the individual color they went with and what the cost was, please?

I have a Frozen Black G82 on order.

Still at port currently, so I’m sure I’ll see a final cost when I actually purchase it, but my Build/Special Order prelim sheet said $5000, but once processed said $4500.

I paid a $5000 deposit when I ordered it. Hope that helps.

Maybe they raise the price for LCI models as I saw thread that individual colors for current model has been suspended pending LCI update?

Individual colors are $4,500 on the G8x. Unless you are looking to do one that hasn’t been done before, then there will likely be a higher cost.

Like Ezra168 , I also optioned for Frozen Black. My build sheet shows $4,500 and only had to pay a $1,000 deposit.

Your CA is wrong. They probably tell everyone $5500 since that's the most expensive one (8-series, X7, etc.)

All G8x are $4500 for individual. Any color, no matter what. They won't charge you $5500 since it'll say $4500 directly on the sticker when it arrives. He can claim $5500 all he wants but it won't end up being that.

You can ask him to double-triple-quadruple check and even get the business manager involved if you want to be 100% sure.

Like others have said, MSRP is $4500 for individual color. Some dealers use it as an opportunity to mark people up another 1k and charge $5500. Call them out on it or try and find a new allocation…

They can’t mark it up, it shows $4500 on the Monroney label, it’s the dealer way of either being lazy, or not wanting the perceived hassle of ordering individual paint. The only way it’s not $4500, is if it’s the semi-individual paint listed on the BYO site, in which case it’s $3600.

It is different for other models though.

you can order it through the system without having to fill out an individual paint request nor get it delayed by having it go into status 102 before getting a production week. It's a standard paint in the system, just a premium price.

Badge says otherwise, but I value your opinion.

You can check the individual site and you can also confirm it is indeed an individual color. A widely offered one and thus able to be selected through their system. There are additional customizations within the Individual offerings which require further ordering and custom paperwork, but it doesnt take away from my color and finish being and Individual color.
