Stuck at Factory, anyone else?
My car has been sitting at the factory for 50 days now! It has been built but both CA and Genius confirmed that the car still waiting to be transported to port! I’m week 46!
Anyone experienced this kind of delay? I can’t understand why is the car is sitting there as people with later dates are already getting their cars!

I can empathize, mine originally built 11/3, then went to quality check until 11.29, then waiting for a carrier until 12.17., so similarly long. Its on a ship now about to port tomorrow in Brunswick. What status is yours in?

Very frustrating, I get it. I was pretty close to finding an in stock unit somewhere and purchasing that and then the next day it flipped to In transit and made it on a boat so hopefully yours will do the same soon. Crossing fingers that the rest of my trip goes smooth as seems like mine has gotten held up every step of the way so far. And yes, seems to make no sense that some cars go straight to port and right on a ship within a couple days.

To verify, it’s not at the port?
That’s a crazy long wait. I’m surprised no one can give you an explanation for the delay. That doesn’t add up, in my opinion. I believe you, of course, but it sounds like a notable breakdown in communication at this point. |

Thanks for sharing this! I read the bulletin and it says cars produced from Feb to Jun 2023 … mine was produced late November. I will see if I can have my VIN checked.

Agree, communication has been subpar to say the least.

At the end of the day, putting together a vehicle is a complicated process with a lot of potential errors between parts availability, install issues, and possible damage, and unfortunately our cars most likely suffered one of these and that's why they're outliers. I doubt we'll ever know what the exact issue is but just glad it got caught at the factory and hopefully whatever it is is fixed properly.

Mine was at the port for about 2 weeks, then a couple of weeks making the trek across the ocean, then it was at the port in the US for 3 weeks. It arrived at the dealer this week, picking it up this next week. It’ll be worth the wait! I know it can be frustrating.

After 60 days awaiting for carrier assignment, finally moved to “At the port”.
I had started thinking that the car had been stolen at the factory at this point. Hopefully I will get to see it in a not too far future.
