Im curious, because we are closing in on Tuesday. How many days exactly does it take for each status to run through the entire build process? Like what day this week is the latest it can start before we realize completion date is no longer 12/12.

I talked to the genius last night. She said that, although the intermediate updates don’t happen regularly, the forecast production date is usually pretty accurate. Give them a call.

Just called the genius again. She said we may not see status updates until next week but the build week is still week 50. I guess it’s not a perfect status reporting system.

Well I don't know if my BMW dealer was wrong and I'm actually week 49, but my car is finished and awaiting carrier assignment! For those wondering, from the point it hit "Exterior Body Assembling Begins" up to the point the car was finished only took a few days.

Now I settle in for the long journey overseas.

I’d venture to say end of January. I mean the port times are really up in the air, no set times that people can guarantee once it leaves factory to the time the dealer gets the vehicle.

That sounds about right, with a few days’ swing depending on whether your boat stops at the port in NJ before hitting Baltimore harbor.

Also Christmas - I’m week 51 build date 12/18. If I don’t get on a boat before Xmas it’s gonna take longer
