I've learned one thing on my self build project. You need to see a little preview of what you're working towards…

No sofa (I wish) but putting a cabinet array across the rear wall and a TV so I can pull up you tube videos on bike servicing. The plan was always to have a bike workshop and cabinets for all my power tools.

Not really driven the car much will save that for the weekend, I just wanted to get it the way I want first and then enjoy the first real drive later. Still got front windows to tint but other than that I think I'm done.
What a car and I'm glad the wait is finally over.

Cheers. Yes Newlands so very close. You've probably seen the plate on my F82 Nardo grey, I also have a black Vito with H7 instead of H6 just to confuse things even more 😊

You know your bikes then, yes.
This is my other obsession. Built it two years ago and if I had to choose between it and the car the bike would win. Pinarello F12.

Thanks, It really is a dream come true for me having a garage the way I want exactly, it's been a long time coming but I've just turned 50 so it's now or never 😊

Nice, I'd have probably got the M5c if I didn't go for the new M4. I didn't like it on release (G82) but when I got to see it in person it clicked. How's the M5 for you then, that engine must be something else?

It's actually pretty easy and reasonably priced. You can get specialist 3D videos made from CAD files if you had any architectural drawings.

They'll put in the car and any other bits you want so you can see what it would likely look like when built.

I did this with the house that I'm building, although funnily enough, the garage was the only part of the house I didn't do lol

None at all. My F82 could never go nose into my old garage, I've poured a new concrete ramp out in the street where the kerb is that's shallower and longer so maybe that's helped. But I think the G82 isn't s low, both on stock springs.

Finally after 16 weeks I now have a garage door.
This supply chain situation these days is testing my patience!
Anyway. Good to have a proper door and on to the the next task.

Yes I've got a lot to do in the landscaping department. I'm busy with building work In the house, moving structural walls etc. so the garage, garden is just when I have time/money!
I've attached a couple of pictures of my mates garage/driveway, I'll be doing something pretty similar. The floor will be dark grey and the coloured stripes in the M colours

Nah, you could always make more money happen. Interior renovations are easy to do at any time, don't often functionally change your life, and become outdated by the time you're done anyway. Exterior stuff like this, maintaining your garden, etc., could often lead to more fulfilling and stress releasing days, and tend to stay more timeless.

That was my thinking, besides I have a kitchen in the original part of the house (this will become a bathroom once I knock walls down). The extension I've built is a luxury that I can complete at my leisure. The new kitchen will be in there (one big room that's kitchen/dining/living room)
It's important for me to get the outside 90% done then I can push on with internal building work.
Cheers
