Buy out lease and CPO
I'm about 10 or so months away from my lease ending on my 22 M3 Comp. I want to keep the car, and was interested if anyone has any experience with "selling" it back to a dealer and having it CPO'd then buying it back. Some of the dealers around here are telling me that they will charge me retail on the purchase. Which is about 20K more than my current buyout from BMW FS. Curious for other's thoughts/experiences. I'm up in MA.

It would be much cheaper to get an extended warranty. I think you can get them if car is still under MW.
I believe Ultimate Care Bundle +2 $4249 will extend the warranty 2 years and 39,000 miles and get you a brake job, wipers (even a clutch which comp dies not need). Seems better than CPO as a practical matter and easier than buying and selling. Bundle is negotiable so the price is a starting point. Last edited by road rage richie; 02-16-2024 at 05:02 PM..
