The cup holder argument is pretty pointless, just like Porsche 718/911 cupholders, BMW made the M4 the closest possible to a sports car witch I am totally fine not having or having minimal cupholders. Its an exciting car, the chances I want to drive it like a granny are pretty small unlike the normal G8x.

Nice!
MBB also and Alpine White. I kept the red stripes on the CSL…for now. Will decide when it comes in.

So we're not quite identical but not far off - you know what they say, "great minds think alike"

I know!! It's so hard to fathom. It's been so difficult not chasing crank hubs, and fuel pumps/ injectors, in the past 10,400 miles. That just makes the front end look even better.

Plus, they finally did it right, its AWD. I'll admit, I used to drool over the F82, it's a good looking car, but, I couldn't decide between the two.

It's just like a good looking girl, she's a lot less attractive, when shes crazy. F82, its alot less bad ass to me, when stock, it's one of the slowest cars in its class.
Hahahaha, I was not referring to g8x performance, it has great performance (albeit pig heavy). What I meant was, it's a visual failure, which prevents it from ever being a classic. That is the primary qualifier, and primary reason it cannot be a classic.

I'm sorry, I must have missed that memo; please let me know where that rule book came from - you know, the one that outlines the prerequisite conditions to be considered a classic

Also, pigs are heavy but boy do they taste nice

I think even Pink Floyd wrote a song about them - it went like: Hey, teacher, leave them pigs alone 😉

He's right you know. If kids like the way it looks now, then my guess is that in the future it will be a classic. Aesthetics change. In the 50's and 60's curvy cars were all the rage - in the 80's cars went boxy - E30 is a good example of that and yet they're all considered classics now!

My point exactly my friend

I bought my M2CS because I fell in love with the 2002tii way back when I was barely allowed to ride a bicycle

Today's kids become tomorrow's fans and collectors, especially if the EV devolution continues unabated

I still can't find a rule book on what makes anything a classic

Mate - next time I'm in Australia, I'm gonna look you up, I reckon we'd get on like a house on fire!

I still remember an American friend of the family had an E30 BMW, he took me for a long drive in it! Loved Bimmers ever since!

In a court of law, the accuser has the burden of proof.

So in that spirit, run along and, prove yourself wrong
