I agree. I think these rivets have to be drilled for removal. I punched them out (there is a video on this). However, I couldn't re-use them, and I used the ones provided by TLG.

I just ordered a set and my M80 isn't even built. Thanks Tommy!
LOL

Do these offer protection even if you DO NOT have spacers?

I do not plan on using spacers.

Yes they provide protection even without spacers. I have bought four sets from TLG and am happy with the results.

Thanks, that's good to know what I expected.

They look pretty good and are worth it even if it doesn't provide as much benefit as if I had spacers.

I'm just under $20k, not including PPF and ceramic.

Anyone else install these and have issues?

The top screws for the rears won't stay in. It's not biting into anything and just spins. I can pull it out with my hand once it's as far as it will go.

In the video he says "snug it". Well…it ain't snuggin

Not okay if its not tight. It'll end up in the tire for sure when it makes its way out.

Any solutions?

Maybe a dab of black RTV may be a touch to keep it in if the other fasteners are tight enough?

I'd try that if I could get it flush against the wheel well like it's supposed to be.

I ordered the complete set and decided NOT to put the back mud flaps on. I don't know, but this is precisely what I feared, and you have to drill. I'll stick to the front ones. They were not cheap!
