How many miles is normal on a new car?

Hi All,

How many miles is considered normal for a brand new M3 that you custom ordered from the factory to have at delivery?

If you aren't sure, please post how many yours had at the time.

Just curious, thanks!

About 30 miles is typical. Mine came with 30. The factory does an initial engine break-in to all M vehicles. So when you get your new custom order M3, don't be alarmed. It most likely wasn't test driven.

Thanks. I saw on YouTube that a guy took delivery with 105 miles on the odometer. Raised my eyebrows for sure lol.

Just went back to verify, it was actually 22km.

My M4 is the first car I've ordered (haven't received it yet), but when I bought my 2018 Chevy Malibu new, it only had 7 miles.

Mine had 8 miles when I picked it up.
I asked dealer to not detail. They still drove it for about 2-3 miles filling in the gas and as part of PPI.

Mine was delivered with 16 miles. It'll depend on what they run in in the factory + how far the cars have to drive on the transport ships. 10-30 miles is most common.

My F82 had 3 miles on it. But, I picked it up next to the factory at the Welt. European Delivery FTW.

My F82 had 15, my F92 had 11, and my current G82 had 23.

F82 picked up at the welt had 2 miles on it after I did a lap and drove out of the building. The g80 had 14 miles when I got it at the Performance center.

I would certainly question that. There is no need for more than 10-25 miles.

Do you think Euro Delivery will ever come back? I've wanted to do it my whole life and as soon as I got my first job out of college, they canceled the program lol.
