Question. Are port installed options installed at the “port” of departure (Germany) or the “port” of arrival (Long Beach) as an example?

Arrival. They will be done by the VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) that's at your US port of entry. These places check the cars, clear them through customs, carry out any open campaigns, repair any shipping damage and put them on a transport to your dealer. And install PIO's.

Ok, that’s how I’ve always understood it.

Thanks for confirmation.

Week 42 here, was one of the first to be finished getting built and sent to the port, but since then it's been sitting there. Week 3 and I'm in TX. Was excited at first but now I'm getting antsy lmao

Oof yeah last time I checked that ship was Nov. 10, looks like it got pushed back to the 15th. If it doesn't make it onto that ship, looks like I'll be waiting til the new year for delivery.

I am sure this has been asked and answered multiple times.

Is there a way to track the future Vessels, or only the ones that have been loaded and departed?

I've been using this link to track two companies that ship to Brunswick, GA and Galveston. There might be a couple others I believe as well that ship to SE US / TX

Dumb question. How does one know "which port" the vehicle is at waiting for a vessel? My X1 (Regensberg production) is showing "At Port" and I "assume" it's at Bremerhaven but how do I know it's not at Zeebrugge or other port as some others have experienced?

Yikes. I'm east of Orlando and have only been at the port a week. Doesn't look good for delivery before the new year.

Hey. I’m from week 45 and some cars are making it to port. I always thought that build weeks would be delivered consecutively. However, considing multiple production weeks are waiting at port, does that mean, for example, week 41-45 could deliver at the same time? Or is it first in first out?

It's somewhat FIFO, but it also depends on where you are going and the schedule of ships going to that port. I got "jumped" by several East Coasters that were at port after I got there, simply because there weren't any ships going to TX in the meantime. In only "missed" one and then one got canceled so there was a big gap.

Thanks. Very helpful. I checked and it looks like 3 ships are coming into Bremerhaven over the next week that go to my port. Fingers crossed on make it on one of them.

Mine is about the same time. Finished production November 3rd and transitioned to at port on November 6th.

Three ships at least have left since then heading for Brunswick, Georgia but no update yet to in transit. Looking like it might be a three to four week weight and possibly more.
