Even maybe after the date it could still be 150... I ordered a m440i previously(but canceled the order), the prod date is 7-27. It didn't change the status until 8.2 or 3(can't really remember), to 'awaiting carrier assignment'. Jumped through all steps in the middle in one day though.

The prod date is when your build is supposed to be *completed*, so you should start moving through the line 1-2 business days before that. For reference, an M8 I was tracking with a prod date of 8/31 started moving through the line on 8/29 and was dispatched from the factory on 8/31 as planned. I wouldn't expect anything until 2 days or so before the prod date.

Lot of week 37 builds are 150 status or beyond. Hopefully tomorrow may start to see some 150 status updates hit our group to be scheduled for end of next week or beginning of the following.

I called BMW Genius today just because and they verified I'm still week 38 with a production date of Sept 15. They said I should see movement on or around the 13th. That adds up as a bunch of the week 36 folk have been recently been moving through body assembly and beyond when they were 2 days out from their date. So I'm guessing next Wednesday I'll see a new status.

Coming over from week 41, both genius and my CA stated I’m scheduled for production completion on September 19th. I’m still on 112 status but I’ll begin production soon. It’s crazy because I removed the Carbon exterior package because I still have some cf parts from my 23 g80 and I went from week 46 to 41 and now 38. But I’m happy with my choice, the only cf parts that I don’t have is the air inlets and spoiler but I can live without it.

My current and final build is:

MY 24 G80 M3 Competition Sedan (I had the xdrive last year and 90 percent of the time I was driving RWD with traction off, so it didn’t make a difference on what model I got)

-I went from Tanzanite Blue to Black Sapphire to Dravit Grey(amazing color can never go wrong with grey)
-Black wheels
-Blue calipers(I’m tired of the red ones, had it on my M3 and X3M it was time for a change)
-Silverstone/Black Full Merino Leather (Excellent damn color)
-Carbon Fiber Interior
-Never used driving/parking assistance on none of my bmw and I had those options smh wasted lots of money on those options
-Executive Package
- M Shadowline Package
- M carbon bucket seats
- Laserlight
- M drive professional
- M drivers package is pointless, still have two unused vouchers
- I have so many CF parts I’m putting in the first day of ownership(only missing inlets and spoiler if anybody willing to sell)
But my wife is over my car obsession and I have to stop only this year I had the M550, M3CX, and X3M and now back to the G80; I’ll wait until 2027-2028 to change out my car 😂. But hopefully BMW don’t butcher the 3 like it did with the 5 because that stuff is hideous, I could’ve gotten the M5 when my old CA Rob was giving me a hefty discount

I can’t agree with you more! I have been to 5 dealerships and in all 5, you can hear the wives going ham 😂. It’s either the husband lied about the build or kind of car or the monthly payments 😂. My wife is tired of all the money spent on cars she rather go on vacation with that money 😂

Not sure if that's just because it's the first day of that week? Or if it's a real date....can they give you an actual date if you're still status 112? Or is it still a guesstimate at this point?

All estimates. You could see a change by next week or so. Week 38 should be when your vehicle finishes production. So anywhere from 17-23rd of September.
