X-Drive Tire Choice Question

Trying to decide between 275/30/20 and 285/30/20 or 285/30/20 and 295/30/20. Seems everyone does the latter. What made you guys choose 285/295 besides it being bigger. I was thinking 275/285 and running a spacer. Should help alleviate some rubbing issues. Thank You
