I do not think he can call the Genius as they will not have the information for Canada.

The boat my car is on went from a March 11 to a March 13 docking in Port Hueneme. It is currently dawdling out in the ocean, waiting for its slot.

Seeing the ship’s speed drop to nearly nothing and it drifting is not fun…well I have waited this long…what’s another day?!?

unfortunately thats not the case here in Canada

It looks like Morning Carol is the next WW ship from Bremerhaven to Hueneme and it has bumped up to the 13th now, tomorrow might be the day for us west coast bound port people!

I also see that a NYK boat, Hueneme bound, left on the 6th with the next one due out on Thursday the 14th. So a couple west coast bound boats are departing this week!

Does anyone know how to do the VIN lookup procedure on NYK line boats??

so I’m kind of confused, I switched to in transit this morning. When I call genius, they said I’m getting assigned about and should be moving soon. I thought once it was in transit, it’s already on a boat and it takes a couple days even for that to show. I would be going to the East Coast. Does anyone know how the process works? Once in transit, are you actually on the boat or is it still pending assignment?

In transit means your car is being transported somewhere. Could mean from Port to Port in Germany, From Germany to US, and then from US Port to Dealer.

Brooklands just got to 1st Stop: Sparrows Point. Next is Baltimore.

I'm expecting the car will land in Brunswick on 03/29. Current path has taken 4 days longer vs previous. Estimating 21 days from Bremerhaven to Brunswick, previously it was done in 17 days.

I has the same issue. It showed "In Transit" Meaning I was on a ship and had been for about 48 hours - it still took another few days for "The Genius" to update and have the ship info.

Looks like I'm on the same ship. Checked out the tracking on it and appears to just be holding out there. Very unfortunate accident yesterday, I'm sure delays will happen.
