Not that I'm aware of, it's only the M performance parts if you are into that stuff.

Is this what you are going to do? Are you thinking retrofit or are you going to not take delivery?

I already took delivery and didn't notice it until I drove off the lot and parked at home. I would be ok with retrofit if it could be done under 2k. I'm also open to ordering a new car as long as I don't have to suffer too much on the trade in 3-4K loss I could live with.

Coding is probably not the issue. Drilling the front bumper, the mirrors and getting all the wires in place. I assume rear camera is the same as the cars delivered with parking assist package.

If you have Driver Asst. Pro don't you already have all the camera's needed?

When you say “black wheels”, is that referring to the 826m black wheels or different wheels?

Thanks.

No driver assist pro doesn't have the 360 cameras. It has the odd box with lidar or some strange stuff in the front grill and I don't know what else.

Can someone possibly clarify the front bumper camera. I am somewhat confused what package would provide the front bumper camera? I have seen several photos of G82s with the LIDAR module and Camera but also plenty without LIDAR but with the camera. Is the front camera standard?

The front bumper camera, part of the Parking Assistance Package, is a camera located just a little below the BMW logo centered directly in the center of the grill. This is what's used for the 360 camera feature.

The black box off center on the lower left side of the front is the Radar (not LiDAR) module used for Adaptive Cruise Control and is part of the Driving Assistance Pro Package.

Usually, the parking package has been a separate option and has not been part of the driving assistance pro package in the US market.

It's always been available. The build your own has been wrong for quite some time

Is the Parking Assistance package still available on a new order M3 at this time (1/1/2022)?

I'm aware that it's not listed on the BMWUSA.com online configurator and that it WAS available at time of ordering with your CA, but just wanted to make sure that it's still available now.

Our M4 has Driving Assist but not Parking Assist. Look closely (because TB II) and you'll not see any camera between the kidney grilles, yet clearly see the sensor in the driver's side kidney grille.

We had Parking Assist on our G05 X5. Liked the 360° view cameras but never used the automated parking function. We live in a small tourist micropolis with parallel parking downtown. Mirrors and proximity sensors are all it takes for us to properly park without making any contact. Front/rear cameras are just icing on the cake.

I did not order it ,even though it is a cheaper option I never used it in my last one and I think the 360 camera view is also useless (my opinion)
