FYI, I went to the dealer today (Barrington in IL) and was told that the plant that makes the engine harnesses in Ukraine was bombed and could result in additional delays. My salesman showed me what looked like an internal memo (couldn't get a pic of it).

Anyone else hear about this? I had no idea parts of this car were made in Ukraine.

Yes, its a known issue. We have several reports in the ordering section that upcoming builds are delayed because of this issue.

The Tesla Model 3 Performance won SCCA Solo (Autocross) Nationals in 2020, so in addition to being fast in a straight line, it also handles well. So it’s pretty much a complete package other than ICE engine sounds.

Same boat, I put my name down on Valentines day at at a local dealer here in PHX. Being told possibly October deliver but not sure when I'll get the allocation. I'm setting my expectations as EOY, if it comes sooner then I'll be happy.

Looking to place an order for a M4 coupe xDrive comp. Getting quotes for 15-20k over sticker here in South Florida which I find to be crazy even in this climate. I see several people on this thread who've placed recent orders. Was anyone able to get an allocation at sticker or near it and if so at what dealer. Any help is greatly appreciated !

Your best bet might be to expand your search and start calling dealers yourself. Most MSRP dealers have waitlist and people are waiting for months for an allocation. Once in a while, people pass on allocation leads in purchasing section as well.

That was my plan. I don't mind waiting so I'm going to start calling around and hope to find something. All leads welcome ! I'll be sure to share if I come across anything.

My dealer on the east coast in Canada had 1 M4 allocation left for week 20 build and secured today. No choice on any options but basically got everything I wanted.

Talked to some local dealers about getting an M3X allocation and they are saying a year before I see the car! This is the SF Bay Area. I'm thinking of just putting the money down and forget about the car until it shows up.

We dont have a release date and everyone is waiting for that update. Based on the history, it might come out anytime this month.
