I live in Houston. I'd I didn't drive it in the rain, I couldn't drive the car for 7 months out of the year.

Definitely Xdrive, I think RWD would be a handful in the winter here. We saw more snow this winter than most people experience in a lifetime

One of my "car guy" goals has always been to have a few different driving experiences available to suit my mood for the day. So, while I wouldn't consider the g80 to be a garage queen, I'm 11 months in and have about 2400 miles. This is about twice the annual mileage my M2 had, so I think I'm doing well. She's never been driven in the rain, but I live in Arizona, so that's not unusual.

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a Golf because I'm fond of 'em. That one will probably see more mileage than my M3 because it's easier to park in random spots in the city.
