Can't lie, not a fan. Maybe I need to see it in a different colorway. There's a lot going on I'm not stoked about. It looks so busy and tacky. It would need a big power/spec bump to get me really excited about it.
... I do want the steering wheel, though. |

I want to know more about the performance enhancements, how was the suspension tuned, what changes were made, what weight reduction was done if there was any ? Etc.
All I see for now is: - CSL hood - CSL grill - CSL center console - CSL steering wheel - M5CS front seats - CSL wheels ? - CSL headlights - CSL muffler/tips - CSL strut brace ? BMW are getting so good at this, reusing the same dash/screen in all models is an exemple. When they develop stuff you can be sure they are gonna reuse it somewhere else. Good business.

Well, these photos are gonna make whoever has the 2nd allocation at my local dealership very happy. Because I’m pretty sure that I’m gonna pass.
And, before anyone asks, no, I won’t give/trade/sell my allocation to them.

I’d rather have a base G80 with 6spd than this. Give me a manual or give me death!

The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards a 6 speed, even if it is a BMW 6 speed.

No because of screen. The grill grew on me and I bought one but in no way will this new dash and screen grow on me

👍👍👍 you got it right! Sometimes you just want some more engagement than outright performance. Hell, my favorite car is still the Miata 😂

Just can't get used to the G80 design, It's so damn fussy
Both the front and the rear, so many angles and lines and curves It's like you clicked "select all" in options for the design Compared to how elegant the E92 was It's aimed at the boy racer/fast and furious/ Chinese market Shame, I'd really like to get back into a BMW, but the last 2 generations of 3/4 series don't do anything for me

No center console storage or cup holders is pretty silly for a daily/beater car.

Is this the same console as the CSL? Cost savings?

Is it me or did BMW forget how good subtle strength could be conveyed?
I find the interior over done- the race buckets look more plastic than CF. The huge score for the m5 CS is how dignified and restrained it is. This M3 just isn’t for me. I don’t lust after this like I do other cars in this price category. |
