It's a good thing you only took pics of the rear end.
Just teasing. Lovely car and I applaud you for keeping it classy with the color combos. |

Nice looking car, but I don't get the wagon frenzy. What's wrong just a standard M3 sedan? I will never own a wagon.

I still can't wrap my head around a performance station wagon. Station wagons remind me of sitting in the rear facing trunk seats of my childhood friend's mom's Ford Taurus wagon thinking we were the coolest kids ever.
M3 wagon makes my head explode… |

I think the limited numbers is a rumour only, from what I have read it will be a permanent member if the line-up, which from a business point of view makes sense as opposed to limit it to 1000 units when they can probably sell a lot more when they finally brought an M3 Touring after teasing us 22 years ago with the E46 M3 Touring concept. For your resale value I can understand why a limited run of 1000 units would have been very desirable |

They were more popular in Europe before SUVs took over. Americans wants them because they can't get them. But when they could, they didn't buy them. So it's more of a "want because I can't get" type of thing. If the M3 Touring was available in the US, maybe a handful of people would actually get them. And this is why BMW USA doesn't sell them here.

I feel the same way my parents had a crappy chevy station wagon, from a young age I said I will never own one of these period! I know this m3 wagon and the rs6 wagon that some crowds go nuts for. Aren't like what I rode in as a kid. Iam not knocking these wagons by any means they don't look bad I just can't get excited for station wagons.

Take for example the US didnt even get STi's, Evo's & GTR's until at least 10 years after Aus/Europe/Japan & the JDM awd scene was pretty much over by then. US consumers seem to prefer big trucks, SUV's, muscle cars & luxury stuff, possibly due to cheap fuel & government attention on local manufacturers succeeding, also the US regulations appear to be rather um…"unique", thus many manufacturers appear to simply ignore the US market when it comes to much of the trick performance stuff we have all thrived on for years.

A sedan doesn't have the sort of capacity a wagon does, capacity that's invaluable to people who might not be able to have a second vehicle. Seems pretty obvious to me.

The car is originally equipped with Yokohama Advan tires, or is it a winter setup that you installed separately?
