Few Qs before pulling trigger!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Finally! I have decided to pull the trigger on ordering my g80 in the following!

Alpine white (I love the front grill and like the contrast from a white car)
6mt
silverstone interior
laserlights

Had a few questions.

1. Various posts and articles say that the competition model has better cooling than the 6mt. Is this true? if so, what kind?

2. On the hvac system I understand that there is still no sync button for the different temperature zones. My M2 was this way too but at least it had a wheel to adjust the temp where it took 1 second to go from hot to cold for both zones separately. With the g80 having buttons, how annoying is it to change the temps from hot to cold for both driver and passenger zones?

3. Again, my M2 was this way but there was no way to keep the hvac on recirculate when the hvac system was off. I live in a pollution infested city and would like the hvac to be on recirculate instead of having outside air seep into my cabin even when the hvac is off. Is this possible with the g80?

Thanks in advance. This is all i can think of for now.

Both 2 & 3 are possible via the iDrive menu. You can have the radio buttons as shortcut to the menu, so it is only 1 more click away (and a knob turn if you are not using the touchscreen). Got used to it since I do not change it often.

I recall on the M240 (and probably all B58's), there was an extra transmission oil cooler/radiator for the automatics, whereas the manuals didn't need that and so one of the lower corner grilles was covered in solid plastic. I don't recall any conversations in this respect for the G8X, and I'm pretty sure that in photos I've seen of Base M3's, the cooling surfaces looked identical?

You can change temp via voice control too.

I've seen in a few articles and videos that the difference in cooling is that the (I believe) left cooling vent in the autos has a standalone transmission cooler in it, whereas the MT does not. If there's additional motor cooling I'm not sure, I've only heard of the trans cooling.
