I spoke with my dealer Thursday -- Frozen White, Bronze Wheels, Red Capilers, PSS

It looks like white will be popular; any Brooklyn grey?

Just finalized mine. White, gold wheels, red brakes. Not doing ccb cause I'm planning to track it. Might just upgrade to AP's instead.

There hasn't been a US configurator for any CS model, so there won't be for this car either. As there is one allocation per dealer, your dealer will have the order guide for you if you have reserved their allocation.

Vast majority of people do not spec either of those and it really makes the car stand out imo.

If you can only do one because of budget, get the ccb. Oh, and full leather of course. At the very least extended, but I’m in the camp of full leather is a must.
There is no individual or leather options on the CS.

If anyone is interested in allocation my dealer has one 20k over that's going into production soon. After today there can be no more modifications to color or brakes so act fast (northeast dealer)

I'm still blown away that we are talking about a process this restrictive for a car where the "special" changes are largely software based. BMW should want to convert as many M3CX cars to CS's as it can build.

Then it wouldn't be special.

I don't agree with that, a great car is a great car, no matter how many get produced. BMW isn't responsible for secondary market values.

Ok... a base m3c xdrive is 83k... a tune? 500$ cf hood 2k, body kit 3k, struts and whatnot 1k
You're up to a whopping 90k to get the m3cs done by yourself. Heck let's add in an exhaust for 8k you're up to 100k. What justifies the extra 18k? The rarity. That's it nothing more. If it were mass produced no one would buy it for 120k. With 120k you could buy a used m3c xdrive, get the engine built, tune it for 7-800 hp, redo all the suspension and probably have a much better and faster car. The only reason people will buy the car for 120k is because there's 300 of them.

Got a call from the dealer. You have till tomorrow to make any changes if the dealer hasn't already sent the final build. I was debating between frozen white or signal green.

Ended up ordering

Signal Green
Red calipers
Black wheels

I still think BMW knows more about balance than the average joe tuning shop. Just saying. Again, intangible suspension/differential tuning that cannot be achieved.

Ie- swap your suspension for some high end online or motons or whatever, now who’s gonna help you find the tuning for your active right to left front to rear torque split with said new suspension set up?

I agree, you’ll probably make a faster car. But you’ll spend more time (likely) and headaches (also likely) to achieve this than simply purchasing this car.

Same deadline until tomorrow to make changes was confirmed by my dealership. Just changed mine to Frozen Solid White, Bronze Wheels with Cup 2, CCB and Red Calipers.

Or you just hand it off to someone to deal with everything and you get an arguably better car. If the bmws were perfect there would be no aftermarket for the cars now would there? Arguably some things are just purely cosmetic and offer no performance upgrades and can probably be downgrades but give the car to a company that knows what they're doing and you'll get a better product for that kind of money.
