Thank you for the support both of you.

chicagofan00 its a mix of number of orders + total amount spent.
I don't remember the details to be honest, but it's automatically generated.

1) TMobile and at&t are the only carriers (atm) that support connected drive. Eg, the signal boosting.
2) the car needs connection to wifi for Apple Car Play & Android Auto, but the default connection type significantly reduces (or kills) ur phone's connection to data.
3) the work around is set the wifi connection type to static and the gateway to something like 0.0.0.0 (might be an extra .0 in there). This just prevents ur phone from trying to get Internet via the wifi connection to the car, so phone still gets a good signal.

You can set it in the trip settings in the idrive to show mileage since last fill up. Then on your board control left hand stalk you can press until it shows the current mileage and it will also display mileage since last fill up

Unless you get the park it right out front and confirm with them “it stays right here, right?” before handing over the keys. Maybe it’s only in the Midwest, but these are front row material!

I just found out I needed to enable Remote Start in the car's iDrive. I never read the fine print in the My BMW app and just figured I didn't option it.

You'll also have to re-enable it after a software update or the dealer resets the software for any reason.

Found out a couple days ago that I can stream Spotify directly from the car without my phone or ipod being connected. This was a life changing experience for me lol

Found out with my former X3MC if you hold the B/C button for 30 seconds you get into a diagnostic menu. Especially helpful if you want to put your car on the dyno. Set it to “Chassis Dyno” mode. Probably mentioned but not reading 26 pages of posts 😀

Lol my friend just pointed this out to me a few weeks ago. I never noticed. Only happens when I unlock the car and open the door or something. I can’t find a way to manually adjust it. I don’t even see a practical use for it. Strange.

Along with any custom coding gets wiped when there is a OTA update or if the dealer updates it. If you had already turned off ASD you’ll need to turn off ASD via BimmerCode after every update 😔

It's an option in the media picker. You can find it right in the source options in iDrive.

It's part of the seat back tilt adjustment. If you push the entire thing due-north or due-south, that moves the headrest.

It's practicality is that it adjusts based on the driver profile. If you wife is short and she uses the car she won't have to adjust it every time she gets in. That said I never let my wife drive the car so mine was adjusted once and that's where it'll be forever.

Log into the native spotify app in the car, and the cars "Connected Drive" signal is used to stream.

First couple times I tried to log in, it didn't work, maybe the cell signal wasn't strong enough.
