Still Mystique... Just Frozen (Tanzanite Blue II)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Slowly approaching a year of ownership and I am very happy with what I was able to do with the car. It really reflects my style and how I like to mod my cars to tastefully standout.

The first mystique

https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1930694

First Version of mods:

AST springs
BMS intakes
Forgestar F14 wheels in Golden Bronze
Kumho tires
Suvneer CFtrunk spoiler
Suvneer CF fender thingys

I turned it up a notch and added some more goodies to the mix.

2nd Version:
Edelweiss Frozen Silver Wheels
Micheline grippies
Suvneer Side skirt Extensions
Suvneer Front Lip
Autotecknic Gloss Black CSL front grille
Autotecknic Carbon Inlets
Millway Camber Plates
CSL DRL
Stealth PPF wrap (and coated) on Tanzanite Blue II color
Fi Exhaust (not installed)
MAD downpipes (not installed)
LED Carbon Fiber Steering wheel (not installed)

Behold.... my stuff!!

Lots of changes, great job. Is the PPF clear stealth, does it still show the TB?

Absolutely beautiful! It makes me want to change my G82 back to TB from San Marino Blue. Can I ask why you decided to go with the FI exhaust opposed to Valvetronic or iPE?

I wanna go this route with the ppf, if a bird poops on it or tree sap gets on it will it ruin the “stealth” of the ppf?

Nope - that's one of the benefits of the ppf. Matte or clear the benefits (in my experience) are the same.

I’m assuming I have to get matte paint cleaner when I wash the car as well?

How is the handling on kumho tires? I tend to go through tires but how much do they differ from Michelin Pilot Super Sport or PS4S?

Yes, gyeon has a good line up for matte finishes. For soap just get a ph neautral soap like carpro reset. After coating though it’s super easy to clean

Kumho tires are for casual driving, having a RWD drive car I don’t think they are optimal for spirited driving. They take forever to warm up and just don’t grip as well as the cup2 that I have now.
I’ve heard good things about the Yokohama apex tires as a good alternative

I’d recommend coating it but ppf is extremely thick so as long as it’s wiped off with carpro eraser or something you will be good to go

Thank you, yea I don’t like the color or the way the valvtronic exhaust looks and sounds. I thought of IPE or TFL but I got the Fi exhaust with partial sponsorship so the price made more sense for a full bolt on catback option

Ok yea I agree. I was surprised you had them. You get what you pay for. I was always a big fan of the pilot super sport on my f82 M4. They did not last very long though. Haha Ps4s are very good and last a bit longer.

Absolutely perfect spec. Congratulations!
I have a G87 M2 on order and have been thinking of getting some Edelweiss wheels. Are you happy with them?

Exactly what happened to me! Haha. A friend pointed out that European cars don’t have them and I couldn’t unsee it. Had to get them for my F31. Makes a big difference.

Nice spec OP!

I’ve seen others gloss black wrap the reflectors as well.
