Totally agree. I wish my M4 exhaust sounded as good as my X3MC did…been hoping for a way to replicate it in the G82.

I think it has something to do with the intake manifold. I know the filter configuration is completely different.

Nice first round of mods, looking forward to your review after you get some miles driven.

Thanks Tom. Just got to drive home 35 miles with a nice mix of twisties and highway. I anticipate it may get a bit louder as it breaks in, but wow already-

I am so happy I did this. The increase in sound volume and increase in pops is what should have come from the factory. It also shaves a fair amount of weight off vs the OEM setup. Lastly, the build quality from Evolution Racewerks is pretty much as good as I have seen and I have been modding higher end cars for 20ish years.

Would highly recommend a midpipe mod for anyone who wants an increase in sound. No regrets going with this one.

Agree 100%, ER has great quality and also made locally here in SoCal. Appreciate you taking the time to post your review and enjoy the new setup!

Jackie, the owner at Kings Auto in Bloomingdale. Right off 287 - north jersey. Mostly a BMW shop, have had them do a variety of things. Great work, prices and an enthusiast who owns an M3. If interested send me a DM I'll send you his direct #

His crew was down at invasion in Florida a few weeks ago.

I have had this midpipe on for about 3 months now. Overall increase in sound volume is great. Low RPMs is is a nice deep tone, but it screams during WOT, especially in low gears.
