Question; I need to swap out the center caps to BMW

What size are the MSW center caps size ?
The 58mm stick-ons (they come w/ 2 sided tape pre-attached) fit. They are a *tiny* bit smaller than the MSW logos, but not noticeable.
Thanks for the response and photos

Imma gonna try the 68mm that should pop right in
If not definitely using your method

Thanks again

Here is a test fit of the 19 inch VMR V710. Seems to fit fine, still a little warm for winters

I had the Michelin PS4 AS put in today. They look great but definitely don't look like a moderate or heavy snow tire. The blocks are still fairly large with just some extra grooves and snipes. Not much though. I'm totally fine with it because I am more concerned with colder temps, damp roads and a dusting of snow. Don't plan on driving it in snow if I can avoid. This week temps in NY got a little chilly at night and I could already feel my Pirelli summer tires hardening up and losing grip.

I posted this in another thread, but figured I'd throw it here as well for more visibility (if the double post isn't allowed, apologies - please delete!)

I've been reading all the threads here about winter wheel/tire options, and I'm still a bit confused / undecided about which route to take.

I've got a 2022 G82 in BSM coming later this month, and as I'm based in NY/NJ, I definitely want a dedicated set of winter wheels/tires, and ideally I'd like to get the Michelins on a set of black wheels.

If I'm interpreting things correctly, it seems like my options are:

1) Use the stock black 826M wheels, wrap them in Michelins, and get either an additional set of black 826M's or other black wheels to wrap with the stock tires

2) Order the 829M wheel & tire package

I'm not so keen on the limited options that I'm seeing on Tire Rack, and my main hold up with the 829M package is that the wheels are a matte black and the car is BSM (can't tell if the contrast will look off or not).

Another thing I was considering, but unsure if this would be advisable due to fitment / driving experience, would be to order an additional set of black 826M wheels, and go 19" all around as winters and 20" all around as "all-seasons."

I realize that both the width & diameter of these wheels are staggered though, so I'm not sure if that would even work. The main benefit would be that for my RWD car, I could rotate both sets front/back to even out wear & extended the overall life of the sets.

Any opinions / thoughts / help would be very much appreciated!

I ordered 19s all around for my winters - all 19x9.5s, all with 275/35/19 snow tires. Yes, the rears are going to be even more tucked in than the OEM 20s - that's OK with me, will mean less winter junk hitting the paint. I ordered the same VMR V710s as in Superbrew's picture above (awesome pic - thanks!), through forum sponsor Kevin @ EAS (who was SUPER responsive and helpful - thanks, Kevin!), except I ordered the FF (flow formed) version of the wheels for hopefully a bit of extra strength against winter potholes (for not much more $), and mine were available in matte graphite finish.

It's going to be a week or so for VMR to machine the center bores to the required 66.5mm, and get them mounted, balanced etc. and then shipped across the country. All in all, I think I'll be very happy with the setup for winter. In my view, the 829M package is a lot more money for still a cast wheel, and spending 826M money to beat them up in the winter wasn't in my budget (but yes, I believe you could run 4 826M fronts for winter...but I think 826M rears would rub in front).

That spoke pattern on the V710s is one of my absolute favorites. If I hadn't already picked up the 826Ms I would definitely go for those, also in flow formed over caste.

For folks shopping the 826Ms, I'd suggest getting the black. The full set of 19"s only ran me about $550/wheel. It's the two-tone ones that are running more than $850/wheel. A lot of sites don't seem to be labeling their part numbers properly, calling the more expensive style the jet black when they're actually the bi-color silver & jet black. For a set of ultra light forged OEM wheels, I'm happy at $550/wheel.

Makes sense. In this review they seem to do well enough in a dusting or light slush, which is what you are looking for.

Is the correct p/n for the 9.5in 826M in black 36-10-8-093-838? I see that 36-10-8-093-836 is also listed as front 826m black on a lot sites but for $300 more. Is that actually the bicolor ?

To clarify, this is the part number for black 826M 19x9.5 wheels. The other part number is for bicolor 826M 19x9.5 wheels. Bicolor is more expensive.

I've always liked those rims. I had a set on my E92 335i. Dead-ringer for the E46 M3 Comp Package rims, so there's a through line to mounting them on a G8x.

For those already well into this, would this set-up work? Looks like it would work just fine.
