Good point! But you know what I mean about the flares running horizontally vs. radially, right?

I can't tell if the intake covers flanking the grill were carbon or shadowline here, but they were on the IoMG car we saw (along with mirror caps and diffuser, so likely some sort of carbon package on what we saw).
Agree. Everything matches what we saw at the UDE. The camo on the lower rocker panel "blade" with have black gloss underneath.

The carbon mirrors are also different than what we're used to. They have scalloped ridges on top with a small "tail-like" projection running towards the window glass (from what I remember).

Wheels are stunning.

Liked the G80 much better than the G82.

I'm really liking those stock wheels. The rear doesn't look as flared out like the current F80. Most likely my eyes are playing tricks on me due to the cover. When the F80 first came out I was still hooked on the E90 look. I'm sure that front end will grow on me. I honestly think it is less extreme than previously assumed.

Nope, you're not alone. I don't think they're totally ugly, but they are certainly not good looking either. They look more suited to a Toyota Camry or Kia Sportage.

Man....I can't wait for the final reveal. The G80 is going to look great.
And based upon what we have seen so far, I believe the G80 will look much better than the G82.

I saw a fully unwrapped M3 Comp at the Ultimate Driving Experience. In pictures the grill looks bad in person it looks much better and makes the car stand out. Personally I'm a fan!

So basically the spy shots we saw a long time ago (rear shot on the red car and gray front end) were right this whole time.

Single piston rear calipers just look wrong. Agree it does look much better overall than the new 4 though, but man it is big.

Sadly the rear fender flares now have a subtle transition into the rear doors- not as bulbous looking like the F80

That's exactly it. It's an in-your-face design that I'd expect of a company trying too hard to keep up.

Those were not spy shots (photos taken by spy photographers), they were leaked (unauthorized photos shared by someone with access to BMW facilities).

It's been clear from very soon after those photos appeared that they were genuine leaks (not photoshops), and its been clear for months that they matched what we saw in spy shots (the real deal, not some pre-production or prototype vehicles).
