Yep, around there, they really did it like when you are repainting the car properly, nut just masking of some parts. But even more work with the peal off layer and multiple color layers..

Yet to see this type of coating being removed, and as you say all the jams and shuts are coated.
Personally I doubt it's as straightforward as made out, also I wonder what the backend cost for removal is. $20k? 😊

Yes, I would also like to see such a paint being removed. I can imagine that while its easy on the big parts like doors, it's for sure a big PIA from all the jams and shuts like engine bay and so on...

If I'm buying a new M4 Competition, it'll be a factory or Individual color. Not Plasti Dip.

Can they color match in the future if a panel needs a re-spray?

I love the color though. No problem finding your car in a shopping center parking lot.

Love the color....but that wheel gap is louder than the color itself.

This is an amazing color especially on this car.

Holy crap this looks out of this world nice! But really can't understand the mentally of dropping $10k plus to spray a lease.

Per the original post:

Now in our showroom, this dazzling new 510bhp #BMW M4 M xDrive Competition Coupe, uniquely finished in Lamborghini Viola Pasifae metallic

This car showcases our new #LiquidProtect Paint Protection treatment, and prior to application was finished in Black Sapphire metallic.

Liquid Protect is an innovative and durable spray-on shield system designed to guard your car from scratches, chips and light malicious damage. Available as an invisible spray-on rubberised base coating, or in the case of this car with an additional colour change coat and high gloss topcoat added. Aside from the protection and dynamic colour change, the treatment is fully removable in the future to restore the car to the brand new factory standard paint finish.

WOW, now this colour is phenomenal! Suites the car so well, just need some carbon to really set it off!

I wonder if the reason for not doing the sensors was to retain functionality. I've had a traditional vinyl wrapped car, and wrapping the sensors decreased their sensitivity a bit, but didn't kill it entirely. Perhaps this material kills them entirely.

It's definitely not 10k. You can get a high-end (pearl, high gloss clear coated, etc) "liquid wrap" for 3k - 4k around me, and I'm in one of the highest-cost markets in the US.

Absolutely Magnificent!!!

If one were to even consider a Wrap, Liquid is the way to go.

Full car PPF is 4.5/5.5k here in the UK.
This process involves stripping the car down and a whole load of prep. I can't see why it would be anything but 10k, if I was in this business that's what I'd charge. Deduct materials, VAT and tax's and your left with probably just over half that figure, then you can pay for the shop, insurance, employees and business advertising costs etc…
