Hm. G8x has generally a bit more weight than F8x and therefore also more weight on the front axle.
But most importantly: One of the big advantages of the G8x over F8x was its much improved turn in agility/front end bite/grip from its revised front axle setup/geometry! This seems to lead to more wear ...
It's 99% tire. The ps4s on the g is a 4 compound mix v the 2 compound ps4s in the f gen. It's pretty much cup2 levels of grip disguised as a ps4s street tire.

100% Wrong. Watch some of their other videos and understand how hard driving almost 100% of the time on the 'Ring is on parts, and how often they change items like brake pads, tires, even wheels. It's often.

No, the issue isn't the cost, it's the availability. You heard what Misha said, for the F80, they have almost an entire track season of parts on hand for some of the more frequent consumables.

If you are at all interested in what it takes to run a business at the Ring, and the Ring taxi program, go and watch some of their back catalog. Robert is very open and honest about everything. Costs, logistics, crashes, not making insurance claims for most damage, etc. They lay it all out there including facts and figures. Very analytical, interesting and eye opening. Especially the tear down of the GT2 RS Crash damage, what they are doing to fix it and how much THAT is costing!
