Supra is stay way cooler than all those cars. Fuck the tech. People can only wish our 6 cylinders sounded like the 90's Supra does. Mid to late 90's was the the best time for the import scene. Golden Era. Lol

Late 80s / early 90s supercharged and turbo charged MR2s… the cheap man's Supra… but O so fun to mod and run… We ran in packs of them (plus a Supra or two in there as well). Such great times….

I'd never made it over to that crowd, but I was driving 11 second DSMs.

Go grab a RWD M4 and put 1,000HP+ to the ground. You will see same thing happen. Drag racing is stupid for cars like this, they are setup for roll racing.

That Supra is probably one of the most fun cars you can own. Even Randy (the guy who raced it) said it was the most fun he has ever had in a drag race. And he has driven just about every car out there.

Calling it trash is very odd to me.

Those single turbo MKIVs rule the highways but are known to lack traction off the line. As the old joke goes, show me a 1000hp supra and I'll show you a 12 sec time slip. Just don't mess with them in a roll race at speeds where the G8x xdrive will fall on its face in comparison. Legends are born for a reason…

Im confused on the Xdrive falling on its face? It will be just fine once the power is the same as the Supra from a roll.
