Progressive indicators on G82 M4

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I recently installed the 11/2022.60 software update on my G82 M4C

One of the features in supposed to be ‘progressive indicators’

Looking at the indicators I can’t tell the difference and I haven’t been able to find much information about what this is supposed to look like

Can someone shed some light on this?

Do you do mean sequential turn signals? I hope not.

The progressive turn indicators on the 11/2022 RSU are only for the X7 LCI.

Hmmmm... I'll have to check that out. I have an X7 LCI... wonder if they're cool or douchey.

I am curious also. There does not seem to be much info about this feature online. I found the info in the X3 forum where someone was asking about it in a different post.

Also found this statement in a document called "Programming: Changes with 22-11 I level update that are perceptible to the customer" which is not written for G80s.

Progressive turn indicator: Distinctive appearance of your turn indicator
Relevant for markets: US, CA Affected vehicles: G07 LCI (US) Required optional equipment: -

The progressive brightness gradient gives the vehicle's turn indicator a distinctive and more modern appearance. The change is noticeable during turn indication, hazard flashing, when the alarm system is activated and when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.

Only available for vehicles with OS8.
