Can anyone who has seen this color irl comment on how dark it is? Some angles looks black or flat.

I had it years ago on an E34 5er. It's dark but not so dark as to be mistaken for black during the daytime. It's about as dark as Deep Sea Blue or Mediterranean Blue, not as dark as Tanzanite Blue or Orient Blue. It's straight-up green: no blue or gray (or any other color) tints to it. It's metallic, not Uni.

Thanks for the info. Did the color ever get mundane during your ownership of the E34?

Really nice color. Reminds me of the green Mercedes has for the GLE I forgot what it’s called.

I think I like this color over British racing green.

No. I had an E36 M3 in Avus Blue at the same time (both with silver gray interiors), and I liked both paint colors equally (they suited their respective cars equally well).

That said, there's something about Verdes Ermes that intrigues me, if I had to spec a G8x in a dark/deep green -- and pair it with Tartufo inside.

Nice cars. Dark color cars look a lot better with more contrast, such as with 825M bi-color or the bronze color wheels.
