Something must be wrong with the search engine feeding the thread...coding, flicker, your handle, all of it comes back no responses. Argh. IND said it was plug and play and then the guy I just got my CF diffuser off of said same. Flicker to me means not plug and play. I'd probably only do it if I could get amber turns anyway. I'll have to research that more.

Order the euro spec tails in my OP. They’re amber turn signals. But you have to run a wire from the passenger kick panel. All of your research can be done reading the first few pages of this thread. Weve pretty much outlined it all. If you find anything else, keep the thread up to date.

vBulletin® Version 3.8.11 Search function not that robust. You have to code out. Use a OBD2 cable to eliminate added steps that I provided above for wireless connection. It's a short learning curve when using WIFI. SSID & PASSWORD info are on the side of the WIFI adapter. I used an iPhone ProMax 13 which I could use an update. CPU performance is increasing each iPhone iteration as expected. There was no latency as observed, connection obtained. Business use, I would cable up for reliability.

Again, most guys would recommend a cable, might be faster and easier to use with reduced instruction.

Vendor - Original BMW G82 M4 LCI/facelift laser tail lights for BMW M4.

For US version, left hand drive vehicles.

Coding is necessary after installation to get ride of some flickering issues at lock and unlock. We work with 2 professional coders, one from Switzerland, specializes in European models, and one from New York specializes in US vehicles.

Thanks for the post and the pm, appreciate it. Odds are I’ll spend the $ on exhaust or HAS for now. Will keep following the thread though.

im just curious as to were the spec's are located for the New CSL Tail lights 1.2mm seems right but 5 mm thats a huge difference - thats like a standard LED size.

Euro specs have amber turn signals as required by their. Country and no side marker lamp as the USA Version does . Here's what my Euro Tail Lights look like with the turn signal on but mines are Replica Euro CSL Tail Lights

Is the euro spec wire-run still required for the G83?

Nope. G83 is as simple as it comes. Just need to code out the flickering and if you want separate turn and brake signals then some coding for that as well. The requesite wiring is already there from the factory

Has anyone done a full retrofit with new tails and the new headlights? Total cost including coding (not doing it yourself)?

Hi guys, I just installed the LCI lasers on my i4 M50, hope it's ok to ask here... I'm in Hong Kong so it's RHD ECE specs, and am getting the flickering as well. But I sorta like the flickering as startup and shut down sequences, besides personal preference, is there any reason why it must be coded out? Would the flickering shorten the life of the laser diodes? The flickering to me, does somehow looks intended?
