Garage queen.
I enjoy being meticulous about its condition and appearance, and find it oddly therapeutic to take pride in maintenance. Additionally, I work from home and we own other vehicles, so its use is primarily in weekend outings to car meets, car cruises, dinner with friends, date nights with the wife, etc. Sitting at just a hair over 5K miles and coming up on a year of ownership in October. I suppose another reason I'm fine with it is due to the awful roads, potholes, drivers, and crazy hail/tornadoes/storms we've been getting here in Colorado this summer. Damage to Frozen paint can't be easily fixed so I'm fine keeping it hidden away most days. |

Mostly in the garage; I work from home and don’t really need a car, I just have one to have one :-).
If it rains, I’m not taking it out unless I really have to. I’ve driven in the rain only once since I got the car back in early March. I also wash it in my driveway once a week. Now I probably have put more miles (2600ish) on it than I thought I would in the last 4 months but that also includes the 750 miles I drove from the dealer to home. This is by far the most favorite car I’ve owned and I definitely do love running errands with it. Gotta enjoy it! |

The G80 is a perfect place for my 3 year old to sleep. The CS is compliant enough for the baby girl and is mental when I'm alone!! Break in service on Wednesday!
This car will be driven, all seasons regardless of weather within reason!

I use my G80 mainly for road trips in the Midwest across all seasons. It has full PPF. Here’s a pic from a farm trip to Iowa and then last weekend to Kansas.

This thread is a good one, given that I've finally transitioned over to actually driving the car vs. having it sit in the garage all the time.
Mine is a '22 G82 delivered in November '21 and I've only had 3k miles since delivery. Reason for such low mileage on the car was because I didn't want my coworkers or my boss to know I have it (Yeah, we have some weird corporate culture...). I'm not the kind of person who keeps their cars as garage queens; - I've racked up 144k miles on my old Camaro in less than 3 years - 52k miles on my M2C in 2 years Now that I've decided to leave my current job, I've started to actually drive her I just completed a road trip to FL this past weekend, hitting 5.2k miles along the way! Maybe I enjoyed it too much because I got clocked @ 95 on a 70 |

I daily mine as much as i can, but like you, avoid inclement weather for the most part, for the sake of having to clean it lol.
I have a 6mt G80, live in Ohio, and also own a 23 Tacoma. Between both, I put about 8k miles/year on each.

Not that it was a reason for me to get rid of it. That was mostly because it's just impractical. But it certainly weighed into it. Looking forward to DD'ing the M3 without any cares of how much mileage I'm putting on it. |

I understand the not driving the car to work thing too. I do drive mine to work about half the time, but it absolutely crossed my mind to just never do it. It brings a lot of unnecessary comments and attention. Sure, some of the car guys/gals want to chat about it and that's all great. But there are also more than a few who think that someone that either can or does spend over X amount on a car is somehow a jerk or materialistic or whatever, and that's just totally unwarranted. And especially if you're in leadership or the c-suite or whatever, having others get visual confirmation that you're making more than they are also draws a lot of hate. Many people are just jealous by their nature, and I definitely am not trying to flex on anyone or make them feel bad about themselves or me. Yes, I know the answer is not to care what others think, and as I said, I did drive my car to work the same week I bought it... but I definitely thought about not doing it.

It's a second play car, I have a 2016 Camaro that makes 1100 horsepower to the wheels. I bought this as another play car to mod that's not as extreme as the Camaro. I'm going to just do larger turbos and port injection on this and have a nice, luxurious 800+ horsepower car to drive. The Camaro basically feels like a race car at this point so I don't like driving it. I've actually thought about selling both and buying a 911 Turbo.

My car is 3 months old.
It has over 10.000km. 1000km of that is on the most demanding track in the world, the Nordschleife. About 3000km is spirited driving on roads around Nürburg. I got this car to throw it around and have fun. My e34 m5 is a garage queen though, but even that grandpa has been on the track for a few laps |

People comment constantly. Pull next to me at light wanting to talk. Pulled into a restaurant for lunch and got the front spot. Two people commented inside and one when we left. I guess I nailed the look. I would daily the car, but the job sites require a truck. I did keep the stock wheels for winter. I’m going to get some good winter tires in Oct. I drive it as much as possible. I’m around 700 miles per Month |

Kinda drifting off topic here, but all that extra attention is definitely one reason I considered not driving it to work... but the car is just too much fun to leave at home all the time.

Don’t understand why anyone would buy a 3 series to leave it parked in the garage.
3 weeks in, 2000km break in service complete and will hit 3000km tomorrow |

On track for another 15k mile year for mine. I estimated I'd only do 8-10k initially, but then I sold my bike...then summer rolled around and I HAD to drive more because...uh....reasons...
I drive it in rain, fog, whatever. I've gotten 3 nails in my tires so far. Lots of fun twisties in the bay area to hit on weekends....or on my way to the golf course. Funnily enough I'm ordering stuff to remodel the garage before any aftermarket mods for the car...just the way it worked out so far.
