Got in touch with Sabon and they are insisting that this is a normal mold line and that all side skirts have it. While I haven’t seen others in the flesh, I’ve seen plenty of photos and none of the others have this line, so I called BS on that. After some back and forth (they were quite defensive about the whole thing) they said they’ll take it back if I pay the shipping. From their tone I get the sense I’m going to pay $150+ to ship this, not get a refund, and never hear from them again. I could be wrong, who knows. I can’t recommend anybody order from them. It is after all a roll of the dice with this kind of thing, as usual buyer beware.

For that price, I'd shell out a few more dollars and go with the genuine MP piece.

This is why I just pulled the trigger on OEM. Try returning that side skirt to an AliExpress store. Way too much hassle. One of the main things I noticed on these is the orange peel on the flat pieces. I don't want to deal with any orange peel or blemishes.

Yeah sounds like more trouble than it’s worth. They were only $450, so while it sucks about the skirts I figure I’m still ahead on the other pieces at least. The genuine diffuser alone is $3300 right now and that’s on-sale price more than I paid for everything

Maybe if you find a very handy shop who does vynil stuff they could print out a translucent sticker with the same patern or even from a photo that once installed it would hide the joint. You could ppf over it so it stays put forever.

These vynil gurus can do amazing stuff sometimes.

Yeah, super happy with everything. They did a great job getting the badge on and it looks OEM. I am not sure how many others have m3/m4 with their competition fitting on a CSL style grille. Also, the psm high kick spoiler looks so much better on a coupe. Fills out the ass end way better.

Next up at 1200 mile break in: wheel spacers, midpipe, bmc filters and some other goodies

I just took delivery of those ducts today. Initial thoughts. Weave and finish is quite impressive.
A buddy who also bought them said they fit 9/10.

I ordered the front lip, side skirts, and rear winglets for around $2000 (I already had the carbon diffuser).

It look about 2 weeks to get to me after paying for the order.

I personally installed all of the pieces, which took a full day. I did the install without jacking up the car and without any special tools. I just used trim tools and a needle nose plier for unscrewing hard to reach bolts. I also did not remove ANY pieces other than the pieces I was planning to replace.

I'm happy to answer questions on how to do the install.

They said they hooked it up to a scanner to clear any codes. Everything is functioning as I left. This is a high end body shop as well as a detail place, so I wasn't concerned with them removing the bumper, etc.
