Anyone get pushed from week 47/48 to week 4 of next year?

Just got off the phone with BMW genius and my build that was slated for week 47 next week production was in status 112 and I got pushed back to status 111 and a estimated build week of week 4 of next year.

bmw m3 comp x drive, dravit gray, with silverstone full merino carbon buckets.

After monitoring prior build week threads, the two most common reasons for delays are either carbon bucket shortages or individual paint (shouldn't be the cause in your case).

I'm week 47 and haven't received my VIN # even though there's a few week 47 people who got their VIN last week. I'm praying I get my VIN by the end of the week otherwise I'll know that my build week's been pushed back. I did choose an individual color but there's another person who also choose individual and he received his VIN so not sure what to expect at the moment.

I was on week 47, pushed to week 6 then I am back to week 48.
I do have cf buckets as well.
40->50->45->47->6->48 lol

That's good news you got pushed up! I would expect status 150 and a VIN generated any day now.

As if the wait for an allocation wasn’t enough. What a crazy roller coaster we are all on. And for this we pay MSRP and are glad.

So I got some insight from a dealer that was able to pull up the reason for delays. Anybody with carbon bucket seats could be delayed up to week 17 of 2024.

carbon buckets are what are causing the heavy delays.

I wouldn't think that "As early as week 17" entry under "Restriction timing" means that all orders are delayed until then, given the "As early as..." weeks are also listed for items that are currently removed from offer. I'd guess that's the earliest week when the restriction/delay might be lifted.

Yea as I posted I was concerned too. Was week 50 with individual and buckets. Seemed to be ok. Hope you move up!

Week 17? lol Fuck that. I'll cancel, get my deposit back and go on with life never owning a BMW. I placed my deposit in August, no way am I waiting till May/June to take delivery.

I was Week 51 and now I'm Week 5....time to make some backup plans!
