Who’s still awaiting a vessel at Port Bremerhaven?

I’m conducting a poll to see who’s still awaiting a vessel at port Bremerhaven, we (Week 38) have been waiting for a vessel at the port for over 2 weeks, so I want to see if they’re others (prior production weeks) still waiting out there. I’m trying to identify if there’s congestion.

I’m right there with you. I’ve been At the Port since 9/25. Hoping we ship out early next week and get early November delivery.

I'm not sure how much is congestion, and how much is the shipping schedule. I missed getting on Drive Green Highway but that was always a long shot and even though DGH was late getting to port and I probably could have made it on, I was likely not slated for that boat.

I'm still waiting because the next ship to Galveston doesn't depart until, ugh, October 24th! K Line has been switching ships around. Used to be that Brooklands was doing the run to Galveston but now it's Niagra Highway. The Brooklands originally was supposed to depart next week and arrive in Galveston on 10/31, now Niagra Highway doesn't depart until 10/24 and arrive 11/9. Last week that was 10/21 and 11/6.

The worst part is I really hope I make that ship because the W-W schedule has THREE ships leaving Bremerhaven around that time: on 10/25, 10/25 and 10/26, Arc Integrity, Patriot, and Arc Defender. However those don't arrive in Galveston until 11/23, 11/16 and 11/18. The W-W routes make more stops. I really hope I get on the K Line ship.

But it looks like I'll be leaving late in October and getting to Galveston Early to late November either way. No way I don't make one of those 4 ships.

So....backup? It's only a backup if you miss several ships in a row, honestly. With my wife's Cayenne we missed two and made the third and we were at port for 45 days. That's a backup.

You're hoping, but have you checked the shipping schedules to see when the next boat leaves to your destination?

I need to check with my CA and see where my car is and then try and figure that out. Honestly no idea. Was hoping my car would be as quick as my 2023 order. It took from Ready to Trasport 11/29/23 to in Transit 12/15/23. My naive self thought two weeks was the normal timeframe 😂.

Bro I said the same thing! Last year was a lot faster I was week 43 and got my car in early December and that’s with two stop sale and M performance parts installed at the port lol this year is a lot slower!

Your CA isn't going to be able to give you that info. BMW ships with primarily 3 carriers. K Line, NYK line and Wallenius-Wilhelmsen. NYK line primarily goes to the West coast, K Line the South East coast. I think W-W goes to both. I see your location is NY so you need to check the schedules for W-W into New York.

https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/schedules

Looking at it, as mentioned elsewhere, it looks like Thermopylae is next to leave in two days. So maybe you will get on that? Otherwise you're on Morning Claire leaving on 10/16 or Morning Concert leaving on 10/17.

Yeah you’ll definitely be getting your car around Nov because you out west right? East coast is faster but sometimes the vessel schedule is so far apart. But, this is my first time waiting this long and I have ordered 4 M cars and it’s been swiftly in and out. I have missed two vessels so far Themis on 09/22 and Don Pasquale 10/05; I know I’ll get on the Thermopylae that gets to Bremerhaven at 1 PM today and departs on 10/08 🤞🏼 .

No, going to Gavleston. It's a short trip depending on what ship I get on.

It's still possible for you to have made the Don Pasquale. It takes a couple of days from when it leaves port for the status to update on both mybmw and the tracker on the WW site

Anyone here going to Port Hueneme? I'm week 40 and just got to port. Wondering if I'll get to ride with some of you that have been waiting for a boat for weeks.

Wow, you’re going east or west bound? That’s insane. They had so many vessels come and go, that’s so weird.
