Did anyone figure out more details about the price discrepancies? I'm thinking of ordering (4) 19" 826M from Evan@Tischer for my winter setup. Are these forged? If so, and given the price, why would anyone order the 829M BMW winter wheel when it costs more and is cast?

Exactly why I'm not going with the cast 829M Winter set.

I'm actually going with a stock 19"/20" forged black 826M set with all-season tires for my Winter set up since the black 826M wheels are $200 a piece less than the bi-color 826M, and since I run my Winter set 6 months of the year and don't venture out until the plows have done their thing, I want the stock handling of the car retained as much as possible when the Winter set is on.

Spacers mess up your suspension geometry as explained in the link below. They also increase wheel bearing load, which results in higher bearing operating temperatures and reduced bearing life.

Something always to avoid, as should any wheel with offset that differs from the factory wheel the car came with.
