If it goes like the X3/4M or F90 M5 did in the UK, where BMW pumped them into the channel and they sat there with no takers so they offered deep discounts and low rate finance deals to clear.

Unless BMW eek them out or just make to order (highly unlikely) then the deals will start flow once the stock starts to pile up on the forecourts, or it could be a roaring success and you'll struggle to get a bunch of flowers/bottle of plonk thrown in with the deal.

Time will tell.

For those of you in the UK, I just heard from my brother that his BMW dealer in West Sussex has offered him GBP7k off MSRP. I think that includes any loyalty programs, etc. He is looking at an M3 Comp which will be pretty well spec'd.

I'm waiting for 3 reasons:

1. To let the front-end design sink in some more
2. Get a deal
3. x-drive

I've had all redesigns of the m3/4 and I've gotten up to 6% off msrp on custom ordered. If at anytime I've gotten around to accepting the front-end and there's a dealer offering this at 6-10% off msrp...as long as those 3 things meet and overlap; I'd buy one.

I have a feeling we will see many post their deals in the coming months.

So I just got quoted the following.

Fully loaded M3 Comp w/all options, Carbon everything, and carbon ceramic brakes. $84,720 out the door.

$68k with trade.

What would the MSRP have been on that? In the mid $90's?

Correct. $94k. I get 10% off MSRP and I don't pay tax.

I assume this is US dollars and you have a great relationship with your SA. I am sure this won't happen here in the US.

Correct, U.S. doll hairs. It's a military program, so it's quite unique I suppose. Just not sure I can part ways with my F80.

Awesome! Is this for a build around the March timeframe? Not HEA, correct?

I've only seen HEA builds listed so far, and the best discount I've found is 7.5%.

Correct. But I'll place my order later if I do get one so I can get AWD.
