I wanted to reserve my comments until I saw the car in person as sometimes pictures don't do cars justice or they don't photograph well.

My thoughts as of today.

I really appreciate the lines of this car from the side to the front and really like the front aggressive grills. I appreciate the extra carbon fiber that's been added and I think this car will be a huge success not only from performance but overall styling of the car.

My only concern is I don't think the rear of the car is as wide as it should be or aggressive enough to match the front of the car and the side of the car.

I think the rim choice could be something different that has less of a machined look to the wheel I think the rim choice could be something different that has less of a machined look to the wheel.

Just my thoughts I really do appreciate what BMW has done with this car. Unfortunately the car will be mass produced and it will not be as unique or as low numbered as some of the previous platforms.

This white G80 is starting to grow on me. Even though I am not a fan of that front end.

Those 90 degree angles. Like designed by a young kid.

Not gonna lie. The white G80 looks so good.

Then someone decided to post a pic of an F80.

The sentiment towards the white G80 no longer holds.

Competition or not, front end is still ugly and there's just too much going on in the rear end. This g80 is just too ricey IMHO. That boy-racer type look is definitely not my thing...

This might be one nice performing vehicle, but a SUPER HUGE fail in the looks department. To this day, I just can't get over that horrible grille!

Too rice'ed out for me...will def be moving upward toward an M5 when my lease is up. Yea I know they are 2 different vehicles but this new m3 is just not great looking. Perhaps LCI makes some changes.

Thanks for the insight, but with rare exception, there's nothing that unique or low numbered about an M3. It's a mass produced car.

I wish they made those indentations on the hood a functional air inlet/outlet using carbon trim.
I bet they do on a cs model kind of like the m2 cs getting that hood scoop

I've seen this comment a few times and it always makes me chuckle but I can't for the life of me see it that way haha the rear end is a pretty big win over the boxy f80 rear in my opinion.

You are both spot on, the race inspired piano black bits/cf is a bit much, to bold in my opinion. The F80 also came with a m performance stripe that I don't like. I prefer a subtle side skirt look.
