It’s definitely growing on me. The front of G80 resembles the RS5 to me.

Nice fast big highway cruiser but nothing growing on me here other than my covid beard. I'm still in love with Gen 5 and the new girl isn't tickling my loins.

Yeah me too, amazing since my initial reaction to the front of the car was

But it's starting to grow on me, and since the aftermarket will have several options to change the appearance of the grill, I'm sure one of those companies will make something I like a lot.

The rear is still a little too Lexus-like to me, sort of generic. Don't love that rear diffuser, as it doesn't seem well integrated to me, just like in the 8 series. Too clunky for me.

But like that interior.

I do worry about the sound though. Hope they found a better intake/exhaust tone for this generation.

why are these cars so big. I got in an e46 a few days ago and man that thing is a true drivers car.

looks okay. grill is not for me and will not be purchasing. I think the more outlandish extra aka M performance parts makes it look worse than stock. The m3 is somewhat paltable but the m4 yikes

exactly. I think 4 series should have remained regular kidneys...

In this lighting I think it really makes the lines pop ... I'm a fan! Still kinda think the frozen paint has jumped the shark, so to speak ... but looks good! I think a nice carrera silver color would be my go to...

Eek.

No elegance or cohesion. Just abrasive, aggressive elements smashed together ungracefully.

White is the worst I've seen on this since it exaggerates the above.

Nice and classy, timeless, classic BMW!

Why they came out with those hideous yellow and green 🤢 paint jobs and hyped and promoted them in the M3 & M4 launch it's beyond me.

To me, the side profile looks like a Mercedes sedan and the rear diffuser is just in your face, reminds me of a civic type r or wrx. I like the seats. Hopefully, the exhaust will sound good.

In pictures the front 3/4 angle is beautiful at the right height.

However, if you drop the camera a few feet the proportions just kind of go crazy. The pictures floating around of the parked Brooklyn Grey M3 is a perfect example of this.

I wonder what's a more accurate representation of standing at ground level.

I agree with your observation

Another excuse for me to drop the car an inch or so

With all the lips, spoilers, and wings, this car looks more Japanese than any Japanese performance out there.

Meh. I will say this looks better than most of the other colors. Still doesn't make me want to throw my wallet at it like previous M cars have. Oh well.
