At the risk of being banned, I'll take the high road and keep my mouth shut on the styling.

Frankly I think both cars can take a hike. The F80 felt completely watered down to drive compared to its predecessors, and the G80 for obvious reasons + massive weight gain.

I'd say put the G80 color on the F80 and that's it, you have a perfect F80!

Jesus, the diffuser 90 degree angle is almost designed by a ten year old.

It's common for M3 owners to feel discontent when a new replacement model comes out.

Happened to the E92 guys (me) with the F80...
The E46 with the E92...
The E36 with the E46...

And I've witness them all.

The G80 is an incredible replacement, large grill and all, to the F80 and can't wait for the reviews to go live.

Yep. Pretty much give me an M340i front end on the M3 and I would be a lot happier.

The hood "vents" look almost comical from certain angles.

Those early leaked photos really had me wondering where they were going with this model but after all these closer up images, I think the car looks more refined and more muscular.

Yes the front end is different but I personally like the effort along with all the other upgrades on the interior.

For those that don't track the car and don't mind the weight, I think the M3 in manual is a can't miss.

The F80 is a beautiful car but the G looks like it'll eat it. I'm sorry, but the F platform is looking a bit dated next to it.

Why can't you track it? I've been on the track in an F90 and it's amazing. The M3 will be lighter than that.

This is very helpful for someone like me that is looking to replace the boldness of YMB with a new color. It shows me that IoMG is NOT what I'm looking for. Thanks for the pics.
Yes, it does demonstrate what a great colour Yas is. I don't think the launch colours of the G80 will be chosen by many, a bit like Austin yellow wasn't - in the UK at least.

I didn't say you can't, I just said for those who don't.

Makes you wonder how the BMW Exterior Designers and suits got it so wrong. Theirs not even a comparison. The whole Dodge Charger/Mustang/whatever the hell it is, the front face 🥴 just just not work. It was not well executed, the whole front bumper needs to be re-designed ASAP, as well as eliminating the fake side vent, Or actually make it functional as it should be.

But it has M xDrive and that's all I really wanted anyway. But why not make it look bad-ass and sexy as well!?

As much as people hate on the grilles of the g80 and diffuser and hood (which we'll totally suck) the biggest head scratcher to me is actually the door handles like wtf?

Oh man, the G8x is growing on me quickly.

I REALLY want a 991.2 GT3 as my next car but this might serve as another stop gap for me until I get my dream car.

Lowered with some nice Squared HREs would look amazing.
