As a F80 comp owner I will say this makes our generation look dated lol

Doesn't mean I'll be buying the G80 when it comes out. I want to try something different next.

Your F80 is a beauty...
The G80 looks more chiseled and meaner. Can't wait to see these on the roads.

We're basically E9/F8x now.

Not to say that's a bad thing though....

Just goes to show how well the F8x has aged. I think this design is timeless and the best to date. The G8x, not so much.

The F80 is more cohesive, the G80 looks like it's clobbered together. Now, this could be just pictures and in real life, it may look great, I guess time will tell. However, there could be a very real possibility that a LCI with a more balanced design comes out the following year. Kind of what BMW did with the Supra's motor.

If it was not green and white instead people would see how beautiful the new m3 is.

But I'm not sure if that's necessarily a good thing.
I think the front G80 looks better

F80 looks better on all other angles

I'd like a updated "analog dash"

Digital dash reminds me of cheap car

The new (revived from the dead) tacky green is a perfect match to that horrendous design. What happened to BMW? Well, it'll likely appeal to a new crowd. More power to them I guess. I wouldn't be caught dead driving that.

I think if the G80 had a non mustang/charger hood the front grille could actually work....

Isnt it a bit too early to decide the G8x is not timeless? Maybe it will be a timeless design in the future, like the Bangle era bmw's?

E46 still gets my vote for pure aesthetics. Too bad they skipped the 4 door M3 with that generation. But I'm still sticking with my F80 for now.

Saw the G80 in person and while I like how amazing it looks I'll still pick the F80

I would like to say it is true that the g80 is a newer car than the f80. Also the LCI g80 when released will be newer than the pre LCI g80.

I personally prefer the G80 to the F80 in every angle. The stance and width is savage.
