This must be the new BMW social distancing delivery! (The down wash from the helicopter helps keep Covid off the car as well.)

That is a great option to have and Porsche charges an arm and a leg for it. I had my first F80 on M Perf springs and had it at recommended drop. I had a very aggressive varis lip. I live in New York City and while I would occasionally scrape, I never had any major issues.

You just have to completely change everything about the way you drive and you're fine....

Wow. Yas Marina Blue is one of the most common colors in the NYC area. I generally see one a day.

I like the SPY in the video...the real life pictures show it to be much more lime green.

Here's my issue. Even if I liked it, there is no way, I mean NO WAY, can I show up to a business meeting and expect to be taken seriously driving a SPY G80.

You think it would have been much better with Frozen Orange?

I'm actually in the same place with you... looking at the Toronto Red and the SPY. Liking the SPY, but want that bit of green in there. Best in person thought was from the guy who took the photos at the show in China...

"I also don't like yellow car in general, but SP yellow is an exception. SP yellow looks like lime colored yellow, it is so special and not overstated."

So that's a good indication that it does indeed have that green hue!

I work in the ER so no business meetings for me. I can envision places that I'd feel a little uncomfortable driving it into though. The YMB is a super unique color and I get a ton of compliments, but I feel like it's sort of an under the radar unique color. Or maybe I'm just numb to how cool it is after 4 years.

With the SPY I like that it seems to have a little bit of neon green in it. It makes it a little more interesting to me compared to just a standard boring banana yellow.

Is this saying that SPY is not overstated or that the lime in it isn't overstated? Because SPY itself seems like a very overstated (in a good way I think) color. Nothing understated about it.

I miss my YAS so much. You do get desensitized to how special it is. I remember the first month after taking delivery each time I would see the car in a parking lot (especially when the sun hit it) was magical.

I miss the Sakhir Orange I had before it more. The way it changed to a candy apple red in the evening and the orange hues in sunlight was awesome. My friends all say how they miss that color. YMB is just too light a shade of blue for me and would not do that color again.

This is a great video showing the SPY in bright sun at all angles.

Having 1.1 million subs I wish they could have recorded it in something more than 720p.

If someone will not track the car at all and only using it as a daily driver and road trips.

Do you think normal seats will be more comfortable than carbon seats ?

I think that would be pretty obvious, I am ready to live with any additional uncomfort the carbon seats may induce because of the 10+ track days I attend per season but if I would be doing 3 or less I would highly consider the regular seats.

Some people don't track (I do only about 3 days a year) and will still opt for the bucket seats for the obvious aesthetic value. However, they look to be about as comfortable as the current competition pack seats. The competition pack seats, to me, an athletic guy, are the most comfortable seats because for the same reason some prefer a firm mattress, I love firm and supportive seats.

I recently had a 750i as a loaner and felt completely unsupported when I was driving casually, let alone aggressively.

+1

100% aesthetic reason for me on the M3. Will not even think about tracking this, but those seats look marvelous. Also as you said, it does not look all that uncomfortable...sure compared to the regular seats, maybe. But as a stand-alone, should be more than adequate, even on longer drives. And let's be honest here, the seats are made of carbon fiber, but it has plenty of padding and not nearly as aggressive as Porsche's or any other super car brand CF seats you typically associate CF seats to.
