Love this interior ... I'd give it a shot, even with kids ... those seats seem perfect balance of aggressive and adjustability for me.

Amazing seeing some of you convince yourself this is a good looking car. A good looking car doesn't need convincing.

This isn't it.

Interior is a huge win however, I do love that.

Will these sport seats some how have ventilation fans and the m sport suspension can be dropped by 20mm does that mean that it might have a front axle lift for speed bumps

Here in China, BMW's largest single market, we don't get manual either. Just a few days ago the sales manager in Beijing international auto show told me that more and more people who can afford M3, M4 don't know how to drive a manual. Moreover, even though there are tons of people online saying that they prefer manual, they are more likely end up with buying an automatic.
For Asian market in general, since most performance car buyers are living in cities, driving a manual could be inconvenient unless you are a die hard driving enthusiast.
Depending on different countries, selling a manual model may increase some certification fees, and car brands will ditch their manual models when the demand is too low.
So, please, when you say saving the manual, don't just say it, buy it and drive it!

BMW should give me money to ride in it.

Even non-bmw fans, are appalled by the front.

The audi, merc and tesla fanboys are laughing at all new bmw models with hugh grills.

The iX3, M340i, M5, and M8 have normal bmw grills and i will be looking at those options.

But who cares, let haters hate! And yes, i'm a hater too. My Brand Loyalty is gone!!

Sure I recognized him... Not easy however to catch what he replied when the other guy joked you get a Ari Vatanen on top when you buy a M4 competition but then it is even more expensive. Seems he replied it is so much pleasure that I am coming free of charge, in fact it is even me paying just for the pleasure.

He is living in France and acting as ambassador for BMW

That's still cheaper than here ... M3 comp start at 121 k €... getting ridiculous, add a road tax of over 2k € every year that starts getting expensive to run...

Correct :
248 g/km for the M4 manual
229 g/km for the M4 Competition

Looks like in France it is 40,000 Euro above 225g/km so would not make any difference. Guess the decision was based on the low % of manual for current M4.
Doubt it is any different in Belgium but the configurator show the manual available (at 86K) ...and the Competition at 93K. M4 Competition in France is 104K so 11K more than in Belgium (where VAT is slightly higher ) although equipment look similar

Yup, my mind has changed. Love the new M3. Those seats are absolutely incredible. Not a fan of the M4 looks, but I'd rock a black M3 Comp.

Looks like 30K more than in Belgium... Strange I though that within EU the price , without VAT, were now relatively similar to avoid cross-shoping in neighbour countries. Granted this woud be more complicated in Ireland than in France or Belgium.

I think you can assume no ventilation on the bucket seats. The m performance suspension is a 10 mm (recommended) drop (5-20 mm is the range), but I think it's a very safe assumption it will not be adjustable from inside the car a la Porsche. That's a great feature that requires controls within the car and is not something that can be port installed.

Enjoyed the pics of the M4 without a plate- was curious at how the center of the grille looked without. Car looks great to me- and M3 as well.

Most Americans can no longer drive MT either, and sometimes that’s a good thing.

Two suspects attempted to carjack a 77-year old woman on Friday but ran off after they were not able to operate the vehicle's manual transmission.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the attempted carjacking happened in the 3400 block of Hawthorne Blvd around 1:39 pm Friday afternoon. Two male suspects approached a 77-year-old woman as she was getting out of her vehicle and pointed guns at her, demanding her keys.

The victim complied with the suspects, who then got into her 2004 BMW. However, they were unable to operate the vehicle’s manual transmission and ran away, police said.

The victim was not injured in the incident, and the vehicle keys were later found nearby.
