Agreed on your build.

I am doing either Frozen Orange or Frozen Portimano (leaning towards frozen orange bc portimao is so dark).

I'm not usually a fan of Frozen because of how difficult it is to maintain; but I think it looks good here and makes the color feel more special.

I think I might lease this one so it might be a good time for frozen.

Ya I like silver wheels but otherwise I'm all about that spec.

Is the Frozen Portimao a true individual color ($5000) or semi individual like Tanz?

I think BSM with the gold M perf wheels will look amazing.

Why not Portimao blue and satin PPF?? That way it's still easy to maintain but you also get that frozen look?

That's another option, but I'd rather just paint it from the factory and be done.

Idk. I'm glad I still have 6 months to think about it because right now I can't help but love that green.

Frozen Portimao Blue is a standard color just like Tanzanite Blue. However, it is more expensive than Tanzanite because of the matte finish. In the Canadian M4 order guide, for example, Tanzanite is $1450 while Frozen Portimao is $2450. I would expect similar price differential between the two in other regions, although it can vary.

But will choosing Frozen Portimao delay production? If I have (tentatively) a November build, will it delay it if its a "standard" color? Also, do you see Frozen Orange being available in the USA? Thanks!

It can't be just me. Every photograph I see of these new cars the car looks different. It looks like a Dodge Charger, Mustang. It's lost its clean German BMW design roots.

I will go on the record of saying I requested the new Ms to look and be more aggressive, but NOT in a Mustang, Corvette kind of way.

There are some aspects of these new designs especially the interior that I like 👍🏻, but the exterior is disjointed and unfortunately it's making its way into other BMW vehicles.

And once again I cannot stand FAKE exhaust ports or air intakes!

This is a tipping point, this is where the current BMW Head Exterior Design Director needs to go!

Have the car delivered to your detailer from the dealership when it arrives, they throw on stealth PPF, and boom, new car with paint protection and a matte finish. Shouldn't cost *too* much more than the Individual paint option itself, and can be done in a day or two.

Why do the 825M Orbit Gray Matte wheels look like they have some cheezy RimSavers on them? Hopefully that's not the case, thinking about going with a frozen paint, but would likely do the bicolor version instead if that's really a thing.

It's definitely an option. I still might do Interlagos Blue to honor my E92 (and because the darker colors look good on this thing).
